Today the title track from my album is finally out, this song helped me shape and understand what I was trying to say with this whole body of work by bringing me back to my roots. I had the incredible pleasure of recording this live version of the song with @pastell.film and @alive_sessions in the studio I built to record this album. As always my friend @paduddel did the mix and master of the track in his beautiful @glaswaldstudios and I’m proud to announce if you’re an @applemusic user the Dolby atmos mix was done by @geraeuschfabrik_studio And a huge thank you to my label @nettwerkmusic and my publisher @teambudde for their support.

I made a documentary about the people, places and things that inspired the album I’ve made that comes out in November and I can’t wait for you to see it❤️ Credit to Jamie’s pudgy little hands I talk about how where I grew up influenced where I ended up out here in the Black Forest and how it reminds me of my childhood home And how all of friends I made along the way helped me get here (In case you don’t know that’s Nino by the way) And how some really huge life changes (having a kid) inspired me to want to take stock of the long and winding life I’ve lived up until this point so I wouldn’t forget it. And how moving to a new area opened up so many new and interesting opportunities and friendships like my friend @geraeuschfabrik_studio who remixed the entire album in Dolby Atmos (something I’d never worked in before but now absolutely love) at his brand new studio. Built my own home studio out here to record everything to make sure that it all sounds like the ideas belong together, because they do, and learned a lot along the way. None of it would be possible without my friend @paduddel and his beautiful @glaswaldstudios that he built by hand. He helped me from the day we arrived out here to get my studio and my life up and running and not only is he a great friend, he did the incredible mixing and mastering of the whole album that really finalised the whole thing ❤️ thanks dude! This album helped me get in touch with a whole lot of long lost memories and ideas that were really important to me and make

Looking back… maybe it was obvious. 😅 One day it was Schoko Müsli and the big idea: let’s start a band. Another day it was building a studio or making a record together. 💿 Turns out childhood hobbies can turn into lifelong passions! ♥️ But that’s not the only thing we can learn from kids. 😌 Kids also have their values straight. They know that, deep down, there’s no real difference between any of us. They love without thinking twice, forgive quickly, stay curious, and find joy in the smallest things. They keep an open mind and an open heart — and to them, nothing is impossible. 🪄 Maybe growing up shouldn’t mean forgetting that. 💥
