My Fair Lady, 2017
Ford muffler, acrylic paint, silk shorts, dried flora, feathers

I went through of period of working with car parts, particularly mufflers, salvaged from the side of roads and freeways. This was the view outside my studio in Mexican town, Detroit — 2017.

My Fair Lady exhibited at @dresspoetics in Detroit, almost a decade after creation 💗

Dress Poetics exhibition view featuring ‘Nusiya, 2017-ongoing’, an unfinished @paid.actor dress started during the same period
