As I write this, it’s hard to believe that this chapter of my life is coming to an end. Dance has been so much more than just an activity for me, it has been my second home. It’s where I found myself, and where some of my happiest memories were made.

To my teachers, thank you for believing in me even when I doubted myself. Thank you for pushing me to be stronger, more confident, and to never settle for less than my best. You taught me so much more than choreography. You taught me discipline, resilience, how to be myself, and how to keep going after every mistake. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without your encouragement and endless support.

To all my fellow dancers, thank you for becoming my second family. We spent countless hours together in the studio, laughing until our stomachs hurt, stressing before competitions, celebrating every achievement, and picking each other up after disappointments. Some of my favorite memories were never on stage. They were the little moments in between, the conversations in the dressing rooms, the late-night rehearsals, and the friendships that grew stronger with every season. I could even consider some of you like my sisters.

It’s so hard knowing that this chapter is over. For so many years, this studio has been a place I could always come back to. Walking through those doors always felt like coming home, and it’s heartbreaking to know that I won’t get to do that as a dancer anymore. Although I’m excited for what comes next, a part of me wishes I could compete here just a little longer. I know I’ll miss the rehearsals, the competitions, the stressed excitement before walking on stage, and even the exhausting choreo blocks that never seemed to end. Most of all, I’ll miss the people who made every moment so special.

Thank you for every lesson, every laugh, every cry, every hug, every performance, and every memory. Thank you for helping shape the person I am today, and for giving me memories and friendships that I’ll treasure for the rest of my life. No matter where life takes me, I’ll always carry a piece of this studio with me. I’ll always rememebr my KADC family 🩷💙 #d
