Alright now what

Graduation was on Saturday and I’m still not sure how to feel. I remember being a senior in high school hating the idea of going to college, but now I can’t imagine my life without it. It’s a bittersweet ending knowing the place I’ve called home for the past 4 years is no longer but everything happens for a reason. I’m forever grateful for anyone and everyone who made my college experience at LU so special. Whether we still talk now or just like each others post on instagram, I will caring everyone I met at this school with me forever. All my love🤍once a gray wolf always a gray wolf!

closing out my cougarette and dance career tonight

this post has taken me so long to make because this ending is so bittersweet. i could not be more grateful for this team of girls. they have been my best friends these past 4 years and i’m so lucky to have people that are so hard to leave. i’ve spent my entire life dancing and this is the hardest goodbye, im forever thankful for everything dance has taught me and all of the people it brought me. thank you so much coaches paige and kelli for stepping up for this team, i’m endlessly grateful for you making this season possible. taylor, my ride or die, i’m so thankful we got to spend our cougarette career together and couldn’t have done this year without you. and thank you to my parents for endlessly supporting me in dance, always cheering the loudest for me

To say I’m going to miss this team and school is an understatement. I wasn’t planning on dancing in college but the opportunity was given and it’s one I couldn’t turn down. Although I’m only a freshman I feel like I’ve found my home and my heart shatters while trying to figure out where I will be going next. I chose Lourdes for their excellent nursing program, their dance team, and their values. I never thought I would find myself a community that I could call my own until i started going there.
TO MY TEAM:
Thank you for always having my back. I wasn’t expecting to get as close as I am with all of you. Injuries are never planned and even though I and others had some this season we still pulled through and I will forever be proud. Thank you for teaching me new tricks and technique. Lastly, I will forever be thankful for the continuous laughter and smiles during practices, games, and comps. I pray we all end up back together in the same place at some point in time. I love you all so much❤️
TO MY COACHES:
Thank you for always pushing me to be my best. I know I’m not always the easiest to work with but you guys continued to work with me and never gave up. Thank you for showing me that I can do whatever I put my mind to. Most importantly thank you for taking a chance on me and letting me sign to the team.
TO MY LOURDES COMMUNITY:
I pray we all find a place we love just as much as we do Lourdes. I am trying to stay positive on the behalf of my friends and myself but I know this is a hard time for all of us. My heart goes out to everyone.
MY FAMILY:
Thank you guys for always showing up and supporting me. To my little sisters I hope you are seeing all the hard work that I have been putting in and how far it can get you. I love you guys so very much.
WHATS NEXT?:
I am not sure where I will be going yet. There is a lot I have to take into account and I don’t want to make the wrong decision. If you ask me, you might see my face drop a little and it has nothing to do with you, it’s just still something I am working on.
God has a plan, and I just have to see it through.

It’s been hard trying to write this! A week ago I had to say goodbye to a sport I have done for 16 years. Letting go didn’t seem real until that last move! Not being able to say goodbye on my own terms makes it even harder to say goodbye.

The hardest part of all of this is knowing that it was one of the last big things I told two very important people. My papa was so proud that I was going to a school that had dance because that was one of his favorite things to go to. He always supported me and still continues just from heaven ❤️
My dance teacher of 15 years was so proud of me going to dance is college I wanted to have her see me shine one more time. Unfortunately her passing in October made that impossible but still knew she was at every comp watching 💛.Saying that they both made me push myself to be a better dancer every day.

To my team: Thank you for all you have done. I truly don’t know what I would have done if i didn’t have y’all in my corner every second. Going through injuries, y’all made it so easy to come back to everything. There was a lot I had to go through this season and it was never failed to make me laugh. I love you all so so much and I hope y’all NEVER stop being wonderful people.

To my coach: Oh how you have helped me so much. There has been so many times you have helped me through the hard times. For how many times I say thank you it will never make up for how much i truly mean it!

To my mom: Thank you for always believing in me. The constant support, encouragement, push, excitement, and money that you have put into my dance career never went unnoticed. I love you so much thank you for being my biggest supporter!

To my family and friends: Thank you all for being some of the biggest fans!! I will forever be thankful and grateful for all of you come and stay at long comps and shows.

Now as a dancer my journey has stopped here but I will not give up dance entirely! I will forever Keep On Dancing! I love you my LUDT family 🧡🐺 #ludtforever #keepondancing

The beginning of the end…

This past weekend I competed for the last time with my lourdes girls. This team has brought me some of my best friends and memories I’ll cherish for life. While I hope this wasn’t my last time getting to dance, if it was I couldn’t be more grateful for the group of people I got to share it with!

dear LUDT, I will forever be grateful for this experience. even though i thought i would get two years with this team, i will hold this one year in a special place in my heart. i am so beyond thankful that i had this opportunity to compete with a team of hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated girls. thank you to my teammates for everything you have done for myself and the team. i love you guys endlessly. also thank you coach Lo and Allie for believing in me and pushing me to become a better dancer. i will forever be blessed that I got to have this experience. and as always, go gray wolves 🧡🖤
