The Art of Letting Go

A 2.5-Hour Somatic Movement Journey for Women

As we move deeper into Autumn, nature reminds us of the beauty and necessity of letting go. Just as the trees release their leaves, we too are invited to explore what it means to soften, surrender, and make space for what is emerging.

The Art of Letting Go is an invitation to explore our relationship with holding and releasing through the wisdom of the body. Where do we grip, resist, or brace ourselves? What happens when we soften our hold, surrender to gravity, and allow movement to unfold beyond our control?

Sacred Motion : Returning to Center

A 2.5-Hour Autumn Equinox Somatic Movement Journey for Women

Sacred Motion is an invitation to return to the body with curiosity, as though discovering movement within ourselves for the first time. Through intuitive movement, breath, somatic exploration, partnered practice, and authentic connection, we slow down enough to listen to the body’s wisdom while opening new pathways for movement, sensation, and expression. As we soften the layers of habit and expectation, we create space for greater possibility, aliveness, and more of our true, full expression to emerge.

Paige Nelson is a choreographer, professional dancer, somatic movement facilitator, and founder of Sacred Motion, devoted to guiding people back to the innate wisdom of the body; where movement becomes a living pathway to creativity, connection, and transformation. At the heart of her work is a deep reverence for community and the creation of warm, welcoming spaces where people can gather, move, and remember their shared humanity.

Little hands, big discoveries. 🍂

Learning happens so naturally when we slow down, gather beneath the trees, and follow a child’s curiosity. 🌿✨

A little Love School magic. 💗

The Story of Mother Earth Celebration: In Motion

For one day, we gathered beneath the trees and remembered what it feels like to simply belong.

Bare feet on the earth. Music moving through the air. Children playing. Friends—or once strangers—becoming family. Bodies dancing beneath the open sky.

Mother Earth Celebration was never meant to be something we simply attended. It was something we created together—a living exchange of music, movement, laughter, ceremony, food, story, and connection.

These are the moments that remind us that community is not something we find. It is something we make, together.

And for a little while, surrounded by the wild beauty of Butterfly Mountain, we remembered the simple joy of being alive, together, on this Earth.

Summer at The Love School, or simply summer itself, feels like sweet sunshine, long easy days, freedom, ease, and dream time 🌞🕊️✨🌹

It is a season of water play, adventures that cool us down, gentle mist, popsicles, juicy fruit, and watching everything in the garden grow. 🍉🌊🪴

There is a lightheartedness to summer, an expansiveness, an outward-moving energy that invites us to explore, while also offering deeply contemplative moments of daydreaming beneath blue skies and drifting clouds 🌤️

It is the season when the baby bunnies grow, young birds take their first flights from the nest, and here in Topanga the hills turn a glorious golden hue. It is a time to appreciate the cool shade of the trees that shelter us and to feel grateful for the nearby ocean and creek that refresh our bodies and spirits 🌳🐰💛🌾

Here at The Love School, summer also brings the joy of older siblings returning to spend their days with us, reconnecting with old friends and making new memories as part of our summer camp. It is often our graduates’ final season before they spread their wings into their next adventure, making this time especially tender, warm, and filled with love. We savor these last sweet days together, celebrating how much they have grown while holding them close before they fly ❤️

Summer is also a season of field trips, little adventures, museum visits on the hottest days, picnics, laughter, and discovery. Most of all, it is a time to create sweet, delicious memories…memories that keep the warmth, wonder, and sunshine of the season tucked safely in our bellies and hearts for the rest of the year 🫶🏻🌻🐚

Summer Camp at The Love School is just about to begin! Join us starting July 6th through August 28th ~ enrollment is on a rolling basis! DM us to learn more! 🦋

At The Love School, we believe children flourish in community.

Not just among their peers, but within a village of caring adults, connected families, and meaningful relationships that help them feel seen, known, and valued.

And the truth is, parents need this too.

We all thrive when we have a place to belong.

For years, participating in the Topanga Days Parade has been one of the ways we celebrate being part of this beautiful community. It’s a reminder that raising children was never meant to happen in isolation, it happens together.

This is the heart of The Love School: children growing in confidence, wonder, and joy, while families experience the richness of genuine connection and belonging.

Our Summer Camp begins July 6th. If you’re looking for a place where your child can be held in nature, community, and meaningful relationship, we’d love to connect.

The Story of Mother Earth Celebration

Chapter 1: The Children

Children are the heart of this work.

At Mother Earth Celebration, they are not on the sidelines. They are in the circle, dancing, listening, watching, learning, being held.

Sacred Seed Foundation and The Love School exist to help protect and nurture spaces where children can grow close to the land, close to their elders, close to beauty, and close to themselves.

This is the center of our intention.

A couple of weeks ago, we gathered for the 4th annual Mother Earth Celebration, and what we experienced together was truly something rare and beautiful, a living expression of community, devotion, and love for this Earth and for one another.

You brought your energy, your children, your magic and your whole selves. You climbed the mountain and let it hold you. And what stayed with us most is that sense of one family.

That is what it felt like. 🌿

To every artist, wisdom keeper, musician, volunteer, helping hand, and participant - you co-created a field that we all could feel. Butterfly Mountain was alive because of you.

Special gratitude to @ourbutterflymountain for hosting this event on your magical land 🪄🙏

Thank you, all, from the bottom of our hearts. 🌍✨

See you next year!
