What is Next Wave Dallas? 🎵
Mission Statement: Empowering the next wave of hip hop artists through healing, housing, and higher education—without violence, without exploitation. We replace cycles of survival with creative freedom, ownership, and opportunity—through trap and R&B music that uplifts instead of destroys. Hip hop is not the problem—it’s the path out. We invest in young artists the system left behind, and we help them build something real.

Photos from my time working with @paigesmithusa and her amazing hair! 💖

Our first appointment consisted of a butterfly cut and perm to create some natural wave and fun layers. The second was for a bang trim, all over color, and a style out. ➡️ Swipe to see immediately after the perm + before the all over color.

Done at @collectivacademy.dallas

To book, DM me or you can call (888) 908-3211, press 3 for Dallas, and request to schedule with Keiana!

may 7th marked an entire year sober! here are some moments from the past year:)

my life had become completely unmanageable, but now I’ve been given peace and joy that I’ve never felt before. i’m so grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way🩵

I don’t usually post personal things, but hopefully it’ll help to put it here so everyone knows i’m happy to talk if you or someone you know is in the throes of addiction.

My all time favorite song (outside of what’s coming on the album) is OUT NOW!!!!! STREAM “MINE” by Landon DeVon NOW.
Thank you to @noahrisch for the unspeakable and genuine love I receive for this piece of work. Thank you for doing the unimaginable during this time. I love you and very thankful for you seeing me.

Tbh it’s my queer anthem. You hear women write songs to other women about the same man but you NEVER hear an RNB take on a man telling another man to check his chick cause she really not that girl. I love it for the advancement of me and my growth in my sexuality and the reality that ppl chose to ignore. This album I said fuck that. And I mean it. Tell her that you’re mine or I will. Type shit. I said what I said.

Wish I had the words to articulate just how incredible my experience was at the Leadership Institute. It’s been two weeks since I’ve returned from our 9-day Campaign Leadership College. I was referred by someone in my WNRC network and unfortunately I was not familiar with the organization. Boy did it completely exceed my expectations. I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in learning about the overall campaign process from true subject matter experts with decades of experience. I’ve learned lessons and skills that I can apply in the years to come and made lifelong friends. Huge shout out to its founder, the visionary- Morton C Blackwell who back in 1979, saw the need for a conservative leadership training program.

Join me in making a difference
