Enjoyed the honour of touring Michelle Rempel Garner, member of Parliament (MP) for the Alberta riding of Calgary Nose Hill through Artists’ Studios this morning at the @calgarystampede Art Show. What a pleasure to chat with someone as dedicated and passionate about preserving the West as Michelle. 💙 Thank you to the artists who shared their stories with her. Loved the opportunity to introduce her to our Rising Artist group. Her insatiable curiosity about the people behind the pieces made our day.

Completely self-taught, Verboom Fritz has developed her own unique style of loose yet accurate brush work that that she’s become known for and her works are held in private collections across North America. In 2018, Alexandra worked as a bookkeeper at the Gang Ranch which is where she was first immersed in, and fell in love with, the cowboy culture and where she began to exclusively focus on western themes in her artwork.
