The @gfa_awards was a total vibe! We want to congratulate @the_talking_tradesman @thetingleys_ and Ang on organising such an incredible event!
It was a privilege to build the website for the awards and work with these guys on what was just a vision over a year and a half ago. Saturday we saw it come to life and we couldn’t be prouder to see our guy Russ stand up on that stage and do what he does best.

Congratulations to everyone who entered, to everyone who won and kudos to the incredible work that goes on in the P&D world. Special mention to @knvfinishes and @wkpd1986 on taking home winning awards. Both of these guys mean incredible amounts to Trademark and it was just an honour to see them on that stage.

The Golden Finish Awards 2026

What an amazing evening!

Credit to @angiemonroe.co @rdppaintersanddecorators @paintwarrior_ @tasha_tingley for having the vision and creating THE stand out event of the decorating calendar.

I truly feel that the trade is having a renaissance and that all who attended last night are the leaders in the field.

It was a privilege to be part of the judging team for this inaugural awards. I’m not going to lie and say it was easy with most evenings spent reading inspirational testimonials and viewing work that left me both humbled and inspired.

It was an absolute joy to see people I look up to and now call friends win deserved awards. @colourcoatedrestorations @wkpd1986 @mr.golden_hands @bsa.decor

Though with all the glitz and glamour it pales compared to @claire79graham in a killer dress. Couldn’t keep my eyes (or hands) off her.

🏆 WHAT A NIGHT! THE GOLDEN FINISH AWARDS 2026! 🏆

Wow… where do we even begin! ❤️

Last night I had the absolute honour of attending the Golden Finish Awards as finalists for English Decorator of the Year.

To be standing in a room with around 250 talented legend in our industry was honestly something special. The level of talent, passion, dedication and craftsmanship in that room was just unreal! 👏

We didn’t take home the award but do you know what? Not everything is about winning a trophy.

Sometimes it’s about looking around the room and realising how lucky you are to be part of an industry filled with such incredible people. People who work hard, take pride in their craft, push boundaries and inspire each other to be better every single day.

And can we just take a moment to appreciate the organisers at GFA? 🙌

From the food to the music the atmosphere the organisation and every tiny little detail… you guys absolutely smashed it! Everything was on another level. You could genuinely feel the effort, love and passion that went into making the night so special.

A massive congratulations to every single winner 👏 and everyone who was part of the evening. You are all legends in your own right! ❤️

Thank you, @gfa_awards for a night we’ll remember for a very long time.

Here’s to the people the passion and the craft that brings us all together! 🎨❤️

We done it! WOW! What a night….

The first Golden finish awards, what a time! Thank you so so so much to everyone that has supported, believed in us and has also taken the time to attend the awards ceremony 🏆 to the judges, sponsors, applicants and winners! You’re all amazing and what a night it was! The feelings I’m feeling today I can’t explain other than GRATEFUL

I’ve taken zero photos which just shows what a night that was 🙌🏽

I want to give a huge shoutout to @angiemonroe.co and @rdppaintersanddecorators and my gorgeous husband @paintwarrior_ the work that’s has gone on behind the scenes everyday has been wild! But the process’s, the long hours and dedication has been insane, honestly you done amazing! And both looked UNREAL thank youuuu for everything ❤️🔥

Sadly me and the hubby will need to wait for the professional pics to come as we only managed one together right at the end of the night 🫠

Thank you so much to our host @shauny_h_ performers you’re amazing @originalvapour @hollysbrewer and @toddybrewerdj for keeping the best tunes flowing 🔥 Holly, I am in awe of you and your voice is just so so stunning! I still can’t quite believe it… I won a Golden Award! 🏆✨

What an incredible night! Honestly, I never imagined I would be standing on that stage, holding this award.

Building my own business hasn’t been easy. There have been challenges, doubts, long days and plenty of sleepless nights. But I kept going, and moments like this remind me why it’s all worth it.

A massive thank you to my amazing team at Golden Hands Deco. This award isn’t just mine — it belongs to all of us. Thank you for your hard work, dedication and attention to detail. I’m so proud of what we’re building together! ❤️

A very special thank you to my wife and family. You’ve been my biggest support throughout this journey. I know it hasn’t always been easy, and I couldn’t have done it without you. ❤️

I was honestly so nervous on stage that I didn’t manage to thank everyone properly, so I want to take this opportunity to say a few more words here.

A huge thank you to @rdppaintersanddecorators @angiemonroesalon @paintwarrior_ @tasha_tingley and the entire @gfa_awards team for organising such an incredible event. It was honestly one of the best events I’ve ever attended. The atmosphere, the people, the organisation — everything was absolutely amazing!

I’ve met so many amazing people through my work, and many of them have become good friends. I’ve learned so much from your advice, support and inspiration.

To stand on that stage, in a different country, speaking a language that isn’t my first, and receive this recognition means more than I can explain.

I hope my journey can inspire someone to keep believing in themselves, work hard and never give up.
