✨ My 2025 Year In Review ✨

Year 10 was one for the books! While I wasn't nearly as busy with births as last year, it was still very fruitful. I spent A LOT of time behind my desk this year studying, teaching and writing. But I'm truly proud of myself because this is what balance looks like as a solo doula who also homeschools and works a part-time WFH job.

Like I always say, this work isn't for the faint of heart. I shared in the joy and excitement of several families this year, but also unexpected grief and medical challenges that tested our faith. But the Lord is faithful and he continues to order my steps in this work and I'm excited for what's to come.

As always, I'm grateful for the lessons, experiences and connections. Thank you to all of my clients, supporters and my family @dantpics27 & @pakcollins for believing in my dreams! Cheers to bigger & better in 2026! Happy New Year! #happynewyear

Proverbs 20:7: The righteous man walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him.

I am incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful man to love and raise our amazing son with. As he continues to grow, husband I pray that you will be there every step of the way being a strong presence, fierce champion and listening ear to him.

Remember this picture? It's one of my favorites! Funny enough, I believe you two will be the same height in another year or so 😁 I love you both so much! Happy Father's Day 🤎🤎🤎 #fatherandson

Proverbs 31:28-29
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
"Many women do noble
things, but you surpass them all"

Forever grateful for the gift of motherhood.

Happy Mother's Day 💐

FULL OF THANKS

The three things I am most thankful for this year:

1. My extended family: I am thankful for all of you because you pray for me, pour into me and show up for me. I love you all dearly. I am especially grateful for the Collins family, true allies and my prayer warriors.

2. My relationship with God: I am especially grateful for every single step God ordered for me this year. Through it all, he lead me closer to him. My heart, mind & soul have been renewed and I have a greater understanding of his word. Obedience and forgiveness has lead me to blessings I never imagined at 36 years old. God revealed so much to me this year and took my faith to a whole new level. Me and my house will always serve the Lord! Healing, restoration & prosperity are mine!

3. This very moment: To be alive and breathing... to be walking in my purpose... to know the love of God... for this new season and everything coming with it... to physically be with my family... laughing & hugging...

I AM THANKFUL!

1 Chronicles 16:34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

Happy Fall!

If you're new here, welcome!!!

My name is Kelly and I am a certified doula, family consultant and fitness instructor. I have been a birthworker for 6+ years and I have so much more to do!! Just wait until 2022!!

A few more interesting facts about me 👇🏾

▫️I am married to my best friend+love of my life. Our 11th wedding anniversary is in 34 days! We actually celebrate twice because we had two weddings.

▫️I am the mother of the sweetest, brightest, most caring soul. It's true what they say: the days are long, but the years go by fast!

▫️I have spent the better part of the year engulfed in the Holy Bible. It has become my favorite book at 36 years old. Jesus is coming-you ready?! 🙏🏾

▫️I bought my dream car earlier this year and I couldn't be happier!

▫️I finally started ordering groceries!! Yeah, I know I'm late. I'm so particular about my food! 🤣🤣🤣

▫️In June, I officially ended my nanny career. It was bittersweet to say the least. Be on the lookout for a blog post about this in October.

▫️Speaking of June.... I never really celebrated my birthday. It's a whole new season and I need a GNO like yesterday!!

▫️ @fitnessmomshell 2.0 has been harder than I thought. Motivation had been a huge factor for me. I am doing really good with nutrition, but workouts have been hard to schedule & get through. Any & all encouragement is appreciated. Zumba with me tonight at 7!

You can learn more about me, my work and my family on my website! New blogs will be posted by the end of the week!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Bless our children and protect them from all harm no matter where they go. For you are with them in spirit and love. Guide their thoughts, actions and words and order their steps. Go before them and establish their purpose and destiny even now. Lead them to make the right choices and trust you when they are unsure. Develop their gifts daily and let them be walking signs, wonders and miracles for the kingdom. May they be obedient, truthful, humble and discerning. I pray that our children never lose their child like faith. May our children always look to you first before man. Release their fears and fill them with courage, strength and love. May they be productive and focused with their studies. In Jesus Name, Amen. 🙏🏾

The past week has been.... something. LOTS of feelings... shock, frustration, exhaustion... but also love, comfort, peace and rest. All that matters is that me and my boys are safe and together. The devil tried it, but he lost again! #TeamCollins #ThrowbackThursday #ThankfulThursday #thefitnessdoula #BestofBothWorldsDoula
