The Damask Rose for @ffern.co Moments from a magical Sunday afternoon in Bulgaria’s Rose Valley; the Kukeri rolled into the fields in a silver three-seater Volkswagen Lupo, pulling a wooden cart with more members of their group smiling and waving, ready to begin their dance to chase away bad spirits and invite abundance, blessing the season’s harvest… With the brilliant @alexplumptre @harmonyyoungs @garridocarreras @pcioffi_ ✨ @pal__studios @filmfixersbalkans @mariohace.elcolor @kodak_shootfilm

the brands you can’t stop thinking about aren’t just marketing. they’re creating moments you can taste. jacquemus built a café. rhode made glazed skin edible. loewe turned a tomato into campaign. food is emotional, shareable, and culturally loaded in a way no ad can touch. the brands winning right now know that. and if you’re wondering how to get your brand there — that’s exactly what we do at bechange collective. save this one. you’ll want to come back to it.

Pleased to share images from a beautiful project I worked on a couple of years ago, which is finally surfacing now. 20 years after Peter Randall-Page was commissioned to create “Seed” for the Eden Project, he has produced a limited edition of this iconic work, which has been slip-moulded as a limited edition of 30 and cast from sea-foraged Cornish tin. Tin Seed is celebration of Peter’s legacy in sculpture and his long-standing collaboration with the Eden Project. Massive thanks to all involved! @peterrandallpage @bluehillstin @edenprojectcornwall @mishazoiacurson Production @pal__studios Photography @marcokesseler DP @_charliekey Music @janbrzee

A few frames from Some Interesting Apples 📽️🍎 a community film about the people behind the UK’s only orchard solely dedicated to the cultivation of selected wild-grown chance-seedling apples. These are often roadside apple trees, ‘planted’ unwittingly by someone who drove past and chucked their apple core out of the car window. If the variety is resilient enough, it will grow into a tree, however tough the conditions are. “When it comes to addressing ecological collapse it can very frequently feel overwhelming and I guess if the Some Interesting Apples project, in being able to perpetuate the growth of top fruit in this country fulfils that tiny tiny purpose, then we are contributing something ourselves, and it feels that that’s a little, tiny slice of power” @someinterestingapples Loads of love for the small but mighty team of good apples who made this film ♥️ @ffern.co Directed by 👋 Producer: Bronte Markwick @brontemarkwick Produced by Ffern and Pal Studios @pal__studios Executive Producer: Angus Dunsire @angus_dunsire Creative Director: Emily Cameron Set Designer: Clarisse D’Arcimoles @mckinlochstudio Costumer Designer: Frank Gallacher @frankgallacher DOP: Lee Burnett @leeburnett_ 1st AC: Joe Gubb @joegubb_focus_puller Gaffer John Crooks @crookseycam Sound Operator: Quillon Larratt @quillonlarratt Editor: Boris Hallvig Set Assistant: Jess Morris @jessmorrisis Driver/ Runner: Cris Barrios Sound Mixer: Will Berridge @willberridgesound Colourist: Caroline Morin @kawolinem Graphic Design: Ciaran Birch Story Researcher: Danny Farnham With thanks to @kestle_barton

Over the last 8 months we invited children from across the country to craft a fairytale inspired by the arrival of Spring. This community based project has involved working with over 100 children and their families to create a campaign film for Ffern, an organic seasonal perfume maker based in Somerset, England. First, there’s the Flower Thing, imagined by Lukas from Fife. The Flower Thing keeps balance in nature - but can knock you out with a single scream! Next, Candice from Somerset introduces the Flute Bird, who each spring flies up and up to fill the air with song - helping migrating birds find their way… Finally, inspired by a fairytale by Louisa May Alcott, Imanii from London tells the story of the Violet Fairies - who with love and kindness (and the power of dance) might just melt the Frost Queen’s chilly heart. Watch it here: https://elenaheatherwick.com/MOTION-A-Ffern-Fairytale A Ffern Fairytale was created & directed by Elena Heatherwick @elenaheatherwick and Angus Dunsire, with production from Ffern @ffern.co + Pal Studios @pal__studios It was produced by Lucie Horton @luciehorton and Alice Martineau @alicemartineaufilm , with assistance from Franci Donovan-Brady @franci.d.b Cinematography by Laura Aguilera @laura.aglr , George Beattie @george__beattie and Sam Finney @srafinney Conceived by Emily Cameron The children’s costumes, based on their own drawings, were designed and made (with magic) by Clarisse d’Arcimoles @mckinlochstudio and Frank Gallacher @frankgallacher The Ffern Fairytale workshops were created and facilitated by Josh Bilton @joshua.bilton #ffern #fairytail #shortfilm #creativeproject #springcampaign #childrencreativity #workshops #wonderlands #shortmoviesmonamour
