🏆So grateful 🏆I won an Emmy last night for one of favorite stories I’ve ever done in my 15 years in the news biz. Thanks to @palbertosanchez for the teamwork covering the @pawsitivechangeprogram 🐾 started by @marleysmutts @zachskow — The Pawsitive Change Prison Program pairs death row dogs with inmates in SoCal and they rehabilitate each other! 🙌 They are currently trying to spread the program to other prisons across the country. To watch the 📺 story go to ktla.com and search ‘Pawsitive Change’ •••

On the road for work tonight covering the 35th Annual Baker to Vegas relay race! It’s the largest law enforcement race in the world! Thousands of officers 👮🏻 compete in the 120 mile race from Baker, CA to Las Vegas, NV! Who ever thought I’d be live in Pahrump? 🤷‍♀️ #whatsnottolike #bakertovegas #Pahrump #livePD #nyecounty #police #sheriffs #lasvegas #ktlafamily #baker2vegas #relay #miracleworker

🏆We won a #GoldenMike Award last night for one of my favorite stories of all time about the @pawsitivechangeprogram created by @zachskow @marleysmutts — The Pawsitive Change Prison Program pairs death row dogs with inmates to rehabilitate them and turn them into adoptable pets 🐶 and it’s become life changing for the inmates too. — If you want to help keep this program going, check out @pawsitivechangeprogram to donate and follow the inspirational stories. Thx to my partner in crime Paul Sanchez for shooting and editing this masterpiece! #whatsnottolike #goldenmikeawards #goldenmikeawards2019 #ktlafamily #lulus #saturdaynight #awardshow #winnerwinnerchickendinner #rtna #rtnasocal #pawsitivechangeprogram #pawsitivechangeprisonprogram

We are saddened by the passing of @chrisburrous. Our condolences go out to the Burrous family and colleagues @ktla5news and #ktlamorningnews. In 2015 We were fortunate to have met Chris. He cane to UCAN and filmed a “Made In LA” segment about our factory. He was nothing but kind and gracious to us and our staff. Weekend news will never be the same. #RIPChrisBurrous

20 years ago we were all DJ’s at KRDC, D91 in St. George and without knowing it, were involved in a story, which is now a documentary that premiered last night. ‘The Last Days of Dixie’ certainly tells that story. Can’t wait for everyone else to see it. Thank you @palbertosanchez for your dedication to do so!
