Anatomy of an 808: Synthesis, signal architecture, and real-time execution.

We went down to the component level today—deconstructing the pitch decay, transient response, and harmonic saturation that give the 808 its weight. With Babita holding down the vocal pocket, our student Neil Chandra stepped up to prove that technical mastery goes hand-in-hand with feel.

“Improvisation is not about what you play, but how you listen.” — Herbie Hancock

Rehearsing Song for My Father (Horace Silver).
In this session, Neil @nutronneil transcribed a few bits of the original solo while listening closely to time, touch, and intention.

At @bigwhiskerstudio lessons are quiet, detailed, and personal.
Structure gives the song its bones; curiosity gives it a voice.
Progress here isn’t loud or rushed.
It’s thoughtful, patient, and deeply musical.

“The way an artwork is hung and how it defines a space is crucial, and frames play an integral part in it. They are the story between the art and the wall." Says, co-founder Sonal Chowdhary

Framing is an interesting and intimate conversation with each artist .The round edged frames are a contemporary reminder of a warm grip on time . The last two years have been an amazing journey into how art transforms space and our moods . So grateful for the friendship this collaboration has bought home .
