Hilda Koronel at the Asian American Int’l Film Festival’s premiere of June Robles Lana’s SISA at the Asia Society. Also gracing the event (in photos) were the film’s co-producer Rey Cuerdo, AAIFF chief John Woo, NY State assemblyman Steve Raga, and production designer & Natatanging Gawad Urian laureate Fiel Zabat. It was a warm reunion between the actress and production designer of the immortal INSIANG by Lino Brocka, one of the very first selections of the AAIFF nearly 50 years ago, already led by John Woo along with Vincent Nebrida, when the festival’s venue was an old moviehouse in Chinatown.
