lately my scooter has been full of problems.. amidst these problems, I had to take it to this eastern suburbs italian mechanic, his name: Stefáno. Stafáno was so derogatory towards my scooter. When I called him to check in on it, he was like: "is your scooter the one that used to be red once but it's lost its colour?" I enjoyed his judgement, but also, my scooter was never red but rather burgundy. Grazie mille Stefáno for your Italian judgement - you forgot I'm greek. anyhow, the biggest red flag is blue is what I hear.

CLIFFHANGER A new performance by Holly Childs & Angela Goh Premiere season presented by Arts House, Naarm 13-17 November 2024 Cliffhanger world premiere is tomorrow night! The work examines the cliffhanger as a storytelling device while analysing how and why life now feels locked in a state of perpetual suspension, as if we are living in a constant cliffhanger. We’ve been developing the show for 5 years, and we’re really excited to share it! There are some tickets left for Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. All other shows sold out! CLIFFHANGER A new performance by Holly Childs & Angela Goh Premiere season presented by Arts House, Naarm 13-17 November 2024 We have been developing Cliffhanger for five years, starting in 2019 in Paris with a mind bender mind map, followed by Amsterdam in the studio at Jacuzzi and Geitenboerderij Ridammerhoeve, the goat farm at Amsterdamse Bos (for vital research on nature’s original cliffhangers), Adelaide, where we started making the Cliffhanger ideas into a show, multiple online iterations across borders (short story, video essay, posters, trailer), then Melbourne where we carried a 3.5 metre wooden plank from Bowen’s to Arts House to start our set design, Sydney where we handmade individual ceramic rock climbing holds, and back to Melbourne which brings us to where we are now - premiering a new show in two weeks at Arts House.
