Three secondhand stops around Austin, and they all delivered 🤎

I was in the mood to branch out and explore new-to-me secondhand stores today, and they did not disappoint!

📍 @paloma_consignment : Curated upscale consignment in north central Austin. An incredible selection of high quality brands and materials, with an exceptional in-store experience to match.

📍 Goodwill, my tried and true. You truly never know what you’ll find here. If you’re up for a little bit of a hunt, great finds at great prices keep Goodwill consistently in my thrift rotation.

📍 @impactapparelatx : A boutique style thrift experience where 100% of proceeds benefit @dressforsuccessatx. Shopping secondhand always makes me feel good, but knowing my purchase supports DFS’s mission of empowering women to achieve economic mobility is the best feeling!

These are just three of many (many!) ways to shop secondhand in Austin and near you. Whether it’s a highly curated consignment store, a bargain hunt at a thrift store, or something in between, chances are you can find what you need through a sustainable, secondhand source.

Save this for your next thrifting day 🤎

Thank you to everyone who spent last night with us at Paloma. Joy really is who you share it with, and we loved sharing it with you! We had a great group of women, a room full of racks, and conversation that went from consignment math to kids moving out to “wait, you too?” in about fifteen minutes. That’s exactly what we hoped this would be.

A huge thank you to the Paloma team for opening their doors and walking us through how consignment actually works.

And if you couldn’t make it, we missed you. Fall is a lot, and some nights the couch wins. The good news is this was just the kickoff. The Great Midlife Declutter Challenge is starting soon, and we’d love for you to join us.

This piece has officially found a home! I never really intended to sell it—there were still things I wanted to change, details I wished I had done differently. But maybe that’s part of why letting it go feels meaningful.

Ceramics has a way of teaching me to loosen my grip on perfection. To accept the unexpected, give myself grace, and find beauty in what became rather than what I thought it should be.

When you book a Styling Desk appointment with me this Saturday, it’s your time.

It’s not only about shopping. Bring an item you’re unsure of and let me assess and style it. You can treat it like a closet clean out (like here), style assessment, or a secondhand shopping session.

You’ve got two more days to reserve your spot for a 30-min styling session with me at @paloma_consignment.

Comment “style” for the booking link.
