We wrapped up PALS Boston in Memory of Myrna on a high note! 🏅

We closed out the week with some of our favorite PALS traditions: writing heartfelt Congratulations Project letters, competing in an incredible PALS Olympics, and celebrating together at a space-themed End-of-Week Dance. It was the perfect finale to an unforgettable week!

A week full of “Ash-A-Be”, “heck yeah”, mayonnaise no matter what, peace✌️, jumping up and down, “David and Bernard” and so many more memories. So blessed to know these sweet faces☺️ An experience i’ll always remember, much love for Camp Pals💚💗💚

Thank you @pals.boston and all the volunteers!

Her anxiety was gone. Her walls were down. Amber made new friends, hugging each one as she saw them while we were checking out. Even inviting them over to hang out.

I was told she went on the surf board TWICE on Thursday with @gnomesurf . She was brave and tried something new! She asked if we were proud of her and we are SO proud of her.

She apparently drove the Duck Boat in Boston!

She visited the Aquarium, played mini putt, went to see the new minions movie on a rainy day, tried surfing, wrote letters to new expecting parents of babies with Down syndrome for the Congratulations Project, decorated cookies, art, field games, Kareoke, dance parties, and who knows what else I'm missing...

I was happily surprised to see some old mom friends that I haven't seen in years.

I'm so happy she tried something new, stayed in a dorm room with her partner, 16yo Leah who was so sweet patient kind and friendly! This greatly helps her be more independent.

Amber said she wants to come back next year!

So grateful she had this opportunity to help her grow more independent and have fun exploring Boston and trying new things!
