My printmaking workshop @roca_arts is full today but stop by to see fabulous artworks by @michaelzansky @pam_marchin @artists_in_their_studios @robert_egert in the galleries and the outdoor Family Fall Art Festival. My printmaking workshop is made possible with funds from Arts Alive, a regrant program of ArtsWestchester with support from the Office of the Governor, the New York State Legislature, and the New York State Council on the Arts. @artswestchester

“This exhibition explores the lives of artist couples—partners who live together yet work visually independent of one another. The shared path of love and art can be both exhilarating and fraught. At times, it can press each partner toward greater creative heights; at others, it can provoke uncertainty about both art and love.” – Michael Zansky, 2025

Pam Marchin
She/Her

Pam Marchin was born in New York City, and currently resides in W. Nyack, NY.

As a young child, she was fascinated with animals and made frequent visits to the zoo and the circus. Her experience working as a Registered Nurse had a profound effect on her view of the human condition, and on her vision as an artist.

She often addresses the idea of psychological conflict or entrapment, which she observed in the animals at the zoo, as well as witnessing her patients confined to their beds.

Her artwork often explores the circus theme, the concept of balance--life as a balancing act--while presenting human frailty and joy with pathos and compassion.

Pam brings to her art an appreciation of freedom, the freedom she experienced in childhood through play, fantasy, and humor.
