I have been breeding and showing the finest Cavalier King Charles puppies for nearly 25 years.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Over the past 16 years of serving families through Hearts for Moms, God has blessed me with incredible people whom I’ve had the privilege of doing life with. Linda Koldenhoven was one of those rare gifts and forever grateful to Ben Starling for introducing me to her.

Linda was, and always will be, an extraordinary woman of God whom I deeply admired. She loved people well and was always thinking of ways to connect me with others who could come alongside the mission of Hearts for Moms.

Because of Linda, I met some truly remarkable people.

Because of Linda, I was invited to Mar-a-Lago, where I had the honor of meeting Dr. Alveda King, who later joined us as our Honorary Guest at the Hearts for Moms Gala.

Because of Linda, Judge Jeanine Pirro graciously recorded a special video highlighting Ken’s incredible cooking talents to benefit Hearts for Moms.

Because of Linda, so many people attended our Gala, which she faithfully co-chaired alongside her husband, Ken, and our dear friends John and Regina Clancy.

Because of Linda, friends traveled from Arizona to support the mission she believed in so deeply.

And most importantly, because of Linda, the lives of countless single mothers and their children were forever changed.

But perhaps the greatest gift is this...

I can’t imagine our board meetings without her joyful presence. I can’t imagine planning our November Gala without her excitement, creativity, and servant’s heart. It breaks my heart knowing she won’t be with us physically this year, but we will honor her in a way that reflects the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

Though our hearts are broken, Linda’s love and legacy will forever be woven into the story of Hearts for Moms. Every life transformed through this ministry will continue to bear the fingerprints of her faithfulness.

I am beyond grateful to have called Linda my friend, my sister in Christ, and someone I had the privilege of walking alongside in this mission.

Linda, thank you for loving so well, serving so faithfully, and pointing so many people to Jesus through your life.

I will miss you so very much... until we meet again.🩷🩷🩷

What would we do without our volunteers? Whether you were on puppy duty 😉, setup or teardown, we greatly thank each and every one of you who gave us your time last week to pull off our 6th Annual Gala “Home is Where the Heart is!” It warms our hearts to see this community surround Hannah’s Home with love and support.

Feeling Frazzled?

I don’t know about you, but some weeks just leave me worn out!

We were made for work. Don’t get me wrong, hard work is good for the soul. The problem comes when we THINK that we aren’t allowed to stop once the weekend arrives.

Well, here is your permission. Rest. Your mind and your body need restoration. And YOU are the only one who can give yourself that gift.

🙆🏼‍♀️Stretch
📖Get alone with God
🏃Move your body
👯‍♀️Spend time with friends
🤾Play a little
🌬️Breathe in the fresh air
🌞Soak in some rays
🌸Stop and smell the flowers
🤗Snuggle up with someone you love
😴Take a nap
REST

Before we had children, we adopted our “first set of twins” from our sweet friend, Pamela @pamelacavalier .When we said goodbye to them about 7 years ago, they stole a piece of our hearts. So much so that I wasn’t sure I could love another pup that way.

UNTIL this sweet thing came along. Another perfect Cavalier from the best breeder there is!

I knew my heart was ready.
I’m here for all of it. The love, the joy AND the mischief!

Happy Sunday! I pray your heart is as full as mine!
