We are thrilled to host a special “on-your-feet” development reading of LITTLE BIG MOUTH, an autobiographical solo show written and performed by Pamela Gaye Walker.

About the Show: Part comedy, part drama, LITTLE BIG MOUTH introduces us to Penelope, an actress determined to pass down her stories, resilience, and hard-earned wisdom to her granddaughter. Through eighteen characters — from family members to famous spirits like Georgia O’Keeffe — Penelope revisits her theatrical past, the challenges of misogyny in show business, matrilineal trauma, and the triumph of still being able to create, no matter the obstacles.

About the Artist: Pamela Gaye Walker is an actor, writer, and director for stage and screen, and the President of Flown the Coop and Ghost Ranch Productions. Her career highlights include starring in The Empty Nesters (San Francisco and Los Angeles), writing and directing the feature film Shakti’s Retreat, and developing a Georgia O’Keeffe biopic with Miramax. Her extensive acting credits span Off-Broadway, regional theatre, film, and television. LITTLE BIG MOUTH has been accepted into the Whitefire Theatre Solo Fest (Los Angeles, 2026), the largest curated solo festival on the West Coast.

No registration needed. A Q & A with Pamela will follow the reading.

The #lizaminnelli doc at @roxie_theater was really touching and evocative and my #dance buddies appreciated it as much as I did which made it even better! It is always thrilling to me to witness an intimate portrait of an innately talented person🙌🏻🩷

An incredible week spent in residency at an amazing SPACE in Berkeley Hills, exploring the beginnings of my new play “Women, Birds, Stars” - thanks so much to warm, gracious hosts Pamela Gaye Walker and John Walker, to generous and talented Bay Area actors Bonnie Akimoto, Mary Baird, Joy Carlin (and Pam & JW!) for a super fun table read.

And to Cecilie, Teresa and Tanya @ SPACE (Supporting Playwrights and Creative Expression), a new organization focused on giving #womenwriters a place in nature to create!

(They’re the best. Really. Visit https://spacetowrite.org/)
