👋 H E L L O ! 👋
So thought it was time to introduce half of this dynamic food duo here already! I'm the Lil Brocc Chef and I am slightly o b s e s s e d with broccoli, avocados and acai bowls! 🥦🥑🥣...and apparently it seems also kale! 🙈
.
I know you can't see but I am smiling real hard! I tend to squint smile when really excited! Food usually does that! 😆 especially this BIG bunch of kale I bought the other day to make chips because kale chips are addictive and super easy to make! (The next post will be how to make them!) 😁
.
A little about me...
(I will post an IGTV soon explaining my food journey)
Here are some points that I will end up discussing...
🌱 Vegan for 5.5 years
🌱 Haven't eaten meat in 9 years!
🌱 Went vego in high school for a year
🌱 I was/am a very fussy eater
🌱 I suffer with eating disorders
🌱 I have never opened up about that till more recently but feel it is super important
🌱 I love the taste of broccoli...steamed, roasted or deep-fried!
🌱 I used to be more sweet toothed and now I love salty potatoes!
🌱 I genuinely enjoy cereal or bread that tastes like cardboard + the more seeds the better!
🌱 Animals are #friendsnotfood ✌
.
Thank you for being on this journey with us! We hope you get inspired! 🌈🌻
.
Peace ☮ Love 💖 & G O V E G A N ! 🌱🐷

left to right then > now: 👉

not pregnant > a 2 month old!
pregnant > an almost 1 year old!
pregnant > a 1 year old!
clearly no longer pregnant > an almost 2 year old!

it's spooky we decided to take this at a baby shower, I remember lining up hearing "you're next!" and shaking my head like yeah right! 🙄🤣😳

3 months later those two pink lines really showed me! 😅🙃

my love how special you are to me 🥰 it has been one hell of a year since the last time we were at @mickosheas 🤯 many moons ago when "you couldn't remember my actual name" 😜 because we were just #bestiepalbuds right 😏

we fell hard, we fell fast, we did everything we could to fight against it and "be single and work on yourself" like you're told to do...

we tried to not talk too much = talked all day every day 😁

we said we should not see each other too much = was it every day for six months straight? 😳 (minus that one day at the start you chose a SPA over me 🙄 look...probs fair, but still 🖕😘) missed a few and then everyday since? Sounds about right 😋

we said nothing would happen for a long time = lasted a good 10 days before the scariest 'this better not get weird' 'this better not feel wrong' kiss of our lives 😅

we said no blurting tHoSe 3 words = look...27 days was a solid effort considering we were both thinking it after like a week 🤣 maybe less 😶

we said take it slow and not complicated = 39 days and we gave up and labelled it what it was and had clearly been since day dot 🙃

I guess "be single and work on yourself" isn't bad advice, but it made no sense for us, we both knew instantly what this was, we both had the "oh shit..." moment and we worked hard and healed together

so it wasn't scary, it wasn't a hard decision, it was one of the easiest because we just knew, nothing has ever felt so mutual and I will never be able to put into words how it felt to do that alongside you 🥺

you really see me, the parts others didn't you ask for more, the parts others said they liked but then used against me you say fuck yeah, you are sweet and kind and you have given me what I forever longed for, what I never got to experience and was aching to have, what I hoped existed but had never seen...🙈

you make me feel like I'm not not enough, like I'm not too much, but just the right amount 📌 you feel familiar, you feel like you have always been there, like a part of you has always been with me keeping my faith alive till the right time, you feel like home, but most importantly...👉👈

you make me feel safe ❤️‍🩹 I love you BLR ❤️🐙

if someone had told me on December 31st 2022 that I would be here, living this life on December 31st 2023 I probably would have choked on my own tongue 😅

like really...? My mate from work that I chat to about footy...? 🤨 Moved in together...? 🤔 A puppy...? 😍 A BABY...? 😳 No freakin way! 😱

this year shows what beautiful things can happen when you have spent years...no...doesn't do it justice...let's go with decades, hoping and praying for life to make a few of your big dreams come true and you recognise them out of no where (and at the most inconvenient time 🙃) and just fully let go 🥰

I guess it helps if the other person also does the same 🤷‍♂️ #cutematching 💕 when two souls just recognise each other and go well fuck guess this is it ❤️‍🔥

life may not be perfect but I am so happy getting to do it with you and beyond excited for what 2024 holds, like I can't bloomin wait! 😁 no really the thought of this week 25 eggplant 🍆 getting any bigger is starting to get alarming 😫

this year has made so many wounds turn to wins 🥇 so many scars turn to sacred 🙏 and so many misses turn to magic 💫

bring on 2024 - the year that will forever define our lives in the most wholesome of ways 🌈👶

oh and @b_richohhh thank you, I love you and glad I get big jellyfish hugs forever ❤
