Exploring deep receptivity - connection with the earth, emotions, body center and extraordinary sensitivity of skin and nerves. Led by Natsuko Kono - Japanese butoh dancer, choreographer and teacher based in Berlin. She has collaborated with Yumiko Yoshioka, Katsura Kan and Tadashi Endo, and performed at major butoh festivals across Europe. Between everything happening behind the scenes and projects still being put together, I haven't had much to share but I refuse to let this one collect dust any longer. So for now, have an oldie but a goodie. 🖤 Back in 2024, when I was swept for a group with @thewprdls, I never expected I'd like myself as Balalaika as much! Cold, commanding, carrying every scar like a trophy. There's something so freeing about stepping into someone who has absolutely nothing left to prove. And a massive thank you to @jamesakakingu_cosplay for doing the burns on me, the patience and skill that took made ALL the difference. Buuuut unlike him, I can’t stand bugs in the forest 😅 Even though I don’t actually play Genshin (still waiting for the Switch release xD) I just know that, both in looks and personality, this character was made for me! ✨ Working on this costume brought me so much joy.
