Fishbones from arcane tattoo work in progress. After a decade of handpoking I am learning to use a machine and this was the first time I had used it on myself. Can’t wait for the second session

Mural painting in Mexico.

It’s been a while off of social media but I’m breaking the drought. I’ve been a very busy bee painting a large wall in the jungle with a cacophony of psychedelic creature, but would also love to share with you all sorts of pieces from the past year - tattoos, leather painting and other artwork. I hope you’ll enjoy seeing what I’ve been working on while I’ve been away working on myself…

Please keep and eye out for my stories too, of course featuring what I’ve been creating but also a wide variety of jungle critters friends.

It’s been too long…
Introducing my new, self-made, handpoked friend Baron Blobertsque Blobfort the blobfish.

My apologies for the extended period of social media abstinence - I had not intended to go quiet at all, let alone for this long, and now have many, many pieces of artwork to show you!

Please watch this space for a variety of handpoked tattoos, leather painted garments, murals and signwriting to be posted in the coming days.

If you fancy commissioning a piece of your own please get in touch! Your support of my work is hugely appreciated!

Pocket cat is helping, boat signwriting in the sunshine. Polite requests to move have been entirely ignored.

SLOTHTOPUS 🦥 🐙
(Work in progress)

It had been a year since I last have myself a tattoo, so thought it was high time to give myself a knee friend. The idea for this slothtopus, just above my knee, came about after I designed and made a cuddly slothtopus for my wonderful friend Lucy’s Secret Santa gift the year before last. I couldn’t love her more ❤️

I’ll be adding more colour, stripes and face detail very soon!

The two small dumbo octopuses above it are now a year healed, made during my COVID riddled lockdown in Oakland, California.

Had the best time at my first ever @satanicfleamarket yesterday at @electrowerkz_ with @string_and_bones_ 🖤 Saw so many of my favourite creators and sellers there including @skullpturas @curiositiesfromthe5thcorner Also met some incredible artists that I've been following for ages including @kintsugilt and @bex.b.e.x as well as a whole load of new interesting characters like the vegan cocaine dealer @karma_ceuticals and so many other friendly fellow visitors! All round brilliant and devilish day out 👹🖤🔥

I had a devilishly delightful day running a stall at the @satanicfleamarket for the first time! Thank you so much to everyone who popped by for your lovely words and enthusiasm - you are all enchanting! And a particularly big thank you to Benn for helping me out on the stall today (and for dealing with my absurd but predictable morning faffing for beautifully). Damn do the @satanicfleamarket and @electrowerkz_ know how to do it. What a wickedly wonderful event - I do hope I’ll be back again!

I love that all the leather skirts I’ve painted can be styled casually, smartly or dressed up for a night out. They are all pencil or wiggle skirts in shape, a favourite silhouette of mine, and suit pretty much any top you team then with - crop tops, button down shirts, t-shirts and tank tops, jumpers or, like here, with another favourite garment of mine, a corset.

On that note I have also been working on a few hand painted leather, steel boned, underbust corsets - keep an eye out for them if you like feeling the squeeze! All will be for sale this weekend at the @satanicfleamarket @electrowerkz_

Carnivorous plants real leather skirt, hand painted with nepenthes, a frog and a bat in subtly metallic tones that unexpectedly glow under UV lights. For sale this weekend at the @satanicfleamarket at @electrowerkz_

This piece is something of a favourite of mine… must resist keeping it…
