Some stories begin with a feeling: Copenhagen at Christmas, winter light on the water, and the wish to bring Danish Christmas hygge to the screen 🎄✨

After years of bringing Christmas stories to Hallmark audiences, Emilie Ullerup dreamed of working in Denmark again. Her idea became A Danish Christmas - a story filled with æbleskiver, Christmas cookies, bicycles, tree decorating, new love and family bonds.

That’s Hallmark at its best: romance, family, tradition and the magic of finding your way home. And the audience is vast: Nielsen reported that more than 80 million people in the U.S. watched at least part of a Hallmark Christmas movie during the 2021 holiday season.

We’re especially proud that Danish actors are part of this story, including talent from Panorama Agency and Panorama Academy. In just a few days, we received more than 800 enquiries from actors and background performers. Thank you to everyone who reached out and became part of the journey.

We were delighted when Emilie invited us to contribute through casting. The director and producers made the final casting choices; our role was to present talent for their consideration.

Alhassan Daramy ✨

From his first steps in the room to completing two years of training at Panorama Academy, Alhassan’s journey has been one of extraordinary artistic exploration, growth and dedication.

Now, as a graduate of our 2024–26 class, he begins a new chapter as an actor represented by Panorama Agency. We’re proud to see his work continue to grow, and excited for the stories still to come.

Alhassan already booked his first professional job in a Danish, popular Tv series - which we are excited to announce in due time.

From a personal story to the screen❤️🎬

Best Practice began at Panorama Academy’s Creator Program with actor and creator Hjalte Ilsøe Gustavussen.

Inspired by his sister Marie Louise’s life with severe ME, Hjalte carried a deeply personal story and a strong wish to create greater awareness of a reality that remains widely misunderstood.

Through many conversations at Creator, we encouraged Hjalte to trust his voice, develop his idea and bring its important message into the world.

The project then grew from creative development into production. Through Panorama Production and Panorama Academy, we became part of bringing the film from idea to screen, with Oscar-winning filmmaker Martin Strange-Hansen joining as screenwriter, director and producer and embracing the story with immense dedication and artistic vision.

Last week, Best Practice met its audience at its Copenhagen premiere. A room filled with cast, crew, family, friends, politicians and press - and a response filled with warmth, reflection and deeply moved hearts.

We are incredibly proud of you, Hjalte. Of your courage, your performance and your determination to transform something profoundly personal into a film that creates awareness and opens an important conversation.

Congratulations to Hjalte, Martin, M&M and the entire cast and crew behind Best Practice, including Fredrik and Anine from Panorama’s New Generation ❤️

Fra en personlig idé på Panorama Academy til en film på internationale festivaler 🎬✨

Best Practice udspringer af Hjalte Ilsøe Gustavussens oplevelser med sin alvorligt syge søster og blev udviklet på Panorama Academys 1-årige Creatouddannelse.

En fortælling om mødet med et system, hvor regler og procedurer kan komme til at stå i vejen for det menneske, der har brug for hjælp.

Vi inviterede Oscarvindende Martin Strange-Hansen – instruktør, manuskriptforfatter og underviser på Panorama Academy – ind i projektet. Sammen med Hjalte udviklede han historien til den færdige film, hvor Hjalte selv spiller hovedrollen.

Han er omgivet af et stærkt cast med Nicolaj Kopernikus, Helle Dolleris, Sofie Stougaard, Ole Boisen og Stephanie León samt Anine Lindvig og Fredrik Malte Petersen, der begge har deres skuespillerfaglige fundament fra Panorama New Generation og Academy-uddannelsen ❤️

Nu lever Best Practice videre på festivaler i Danmark og internationalt 🌍🎉

Filmen er udtaget til blandt andre OFF – Odense International Film Festival, NÒT Film Fest, Cannes Indie Shorts Awards, Waco Independent Film Festival og de Oscar-kvalificerende festivaler Friss Hús Budapest og Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival💫🎬🎉❤️

After a couple of years in LA, an exciting new opportunity opened up for me in Denmark. I’ve been accepted into @panoramaacademy two-year acting program and am now also represented by Panorama Agency New Generation🎬

Having the team Panorama believe in me and my potential, and getting to be part of Panorama, is such a huge milestone for me. It’s an opportunity I’m incredibly proud of and grateful for, and one that means so much to me both personally and professionally.

Every acting experience I had in LA made me even more certain that acting is what makes me feel most alive, so this next chapter feels so meaningful. I’m so excited to grow, develop, learn, and see where this journey will take me with this absolute dream team at Panorama 🥹❤️

I’ll miss living in LA and all the amazing people there, but I’ll be traveling back and forth whenever possible - and of course continuing to work with my amazing team at @stonetalentagency ❤️

Nogle roller føles som et helt særligt match. ✨🎤💃❤️

Bag rollen: Iris Gold som Tina Turner.

Iris Gold har Tina Turners kraft, energi, udstråling og musikalske nerve.

Når hun træder ind i rollen, er det ikke kun noget, hun spiller. Hun rammer en energi og et udtryk, som gør hende helt enestående i mødet med materialet.

Men selv det stærkeste match kræver forberedelse.
Frem mod premieren har Iris arbejdet intensivt med skuespil, karakterarbejde, tekstanalyse og rolleforberedelse sammen med Academy-underviser Anna Tempte på Panorama Academy.

Anna er certificeret underviser i Chubbuck Technique og Method Acting, og sammen har de dykket ned i mennesket bag ikonet - Tina Turners styrke, sårbarhed og livshistorie - for at skabe en karakter med dybde, sandhed og autenticitet.

Hos Panorama Agency tror vi på, at repræsentation handler om mere end at åbne døre. Det handler også om at hjælpe kunstneren med at være klar, når døren åbner.

Det er derfor, Panorama Agency og Panorama Academy arbejder tæt sammen - så vores kunstnere kan udvikle sig hele vejen fra manuskript og rolleforberedelse til premiere.

Vi er stolte af Iris og glæder os til at følge hende på scenen.
