You’ve probably heard people saying Ebola is back and thinking, “Ah, rumour again” Well, It’s not.
The outbreak is real, and *NCDC* has everyone on alert.

Before anyone starts panicking, there’s a lot you can do to stay safe, and it’s simple stuff.

✅Wash your hands properly.
✅Don’t touch the blood or body fluids of anyone who’s sick.
✅Skip the bushmeat.
✅Keep your hostel and toilets clean.
And if you’re feeling off after being around someone sick, don’t just walk into a hospital.

Call *NCDC* on *6232* first.

Send this to one friend, and let’s all stay informed. 💚

ADMAP Rally 2026

At ADMAP UNILAG, Anti Drug Misuse and Abuse Program, Unilag Chapter, we advocate against drug misuse and abuse in the student environment and community at large.

We host our ADMAP flagship Rally every year during our PANS UNILAG Health week and last year, we started a theme last year that covers the scope of what ADMAP is based on.

The theme:
Walk for wellness 2.0: Stand against Drug and Substance abuse and misuse.

This year we also had it is commemoration of the International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking. We killed 2 birds with 1 stone.

The rally was very educative, we walked the surrounding of luth and Mushin, educated adults, educated secondary school students as our hope also lies greatly with them. Overall it was a very educative and fun experience.

Special thanks to our amazing sponsors that made this rally a success @royaltybunny @pharmanewsltd @mopharm.ltd . Thank you for contributing to a better community and humanity❤️

See you next year

A TENURE IN REVIEW.

A year is measured in months, but a tenure is measured in what it leaves behind.

Behind every initiative, motion, committee, meeting and milestone were people who gave their time and energy to make the Senate House better than they met it.

This post captures some of the milestones that defined our tenure…not as a claim of perfection, but as a record of the work done and the foundations laid.

To PANS UNILAG, thank you for the opportunity to serve.

Here’s to the conversations we started, the structures we strengthened, the lessons we learnt, and the work that continues beyond us.

AND JUST LIKE THAT… WE’RE AT THE END. 🥹

Some moments felt like they would last forever. Some meetings felt like they would never end. Some debates tested us, some decisions challenged us, and some moments reminded us why we chose to serve in the first place.

But somewhere between the motions, the meetings, the arguments, the laughter, the late nights, the victories and the lessons… we built memories.

The PANS Senate 2025/26 tenure is coming to an end, and watching these moments back makes one thing clear:

It was never just about the Senate. It was about the people, the experiences, and the privilege of serving alongside them.

To every Senator who shared this journey, thank you for the memories.
To everyone who trusted us with the responsibility, thank you for the opportunity.

One chapter closes.
The memories stay.

Day 16‼️‼️

SDG 16 – PEACE, JUSTICE & STRONG INSTITUTIONS
Peace is more than the absence of conflict. It’s about fairness, accountability, and trust in the systems that govern our lives.
SDG 16 focuses on promoting peaceful societies, ensuring access to justice for all, and building strong, transparent institutions.

When institutions are weak, corruption thrives and citizens lose confidence. But when justice is upheld and systems are inclusive, societies become safer and more resilient.
From advocating for good governance to standing against injustice in our communities, everyone has a role to play.
Sustainable development is impossible without peace, justice, and institutions
that truly serve the people.

Pharmacists are the patient's last line of defence

Empowering pharmacists for healthier futures is not just an aspiration — it is a timely call to ensure that globally, healthcare is in safe hands

We celebrate pharmacists in the different career settings across all ages — thank you for the times you've protected patients from receiving sub-optimal doses of medications, ensured doses do not exceed margin of therapeutic safety, provided patient counselling and pharmaceutical care, compounded medications into formulations suitable for appropriate patient demographics, researched new methods to save millions of lives, joined hands with other members of the healthcare team to achieve optimal treatment outcomes

Thank you for joining hands to make the world a better place

...

World Pharmacists Day is celebrated on the 25th day of September every year. This year's commemoration is themed "Empowering pharmacists for healthier futures".
