It’s Pinot Noir pressing day here at Thornfalcon. The juice has been sitting on the skins for the past week to extract the colour, tannings and flavours, and it’s now being pressed and processed, ready (eventually) for our first still Pinot Noir red wine! 🍇 🍷

An exciting day at Thornfalcon- after three years of painstaking planting, pruning and tending, our very first grape harvest begins! We’re starting with the Meunier grapes in our top vineyard (Chardonnay, Meunier and Pinot Noir), destined for a dry rose wine. 🍇

Last night’s Supper Club with chef @ross_stacey_chef was a feast! Five courses of masterful Italian cooking, paired with Thornfalcon Sparking Wine, Dry Rose, Keeved and Dry Fine Cider, Primitivo and Falanghina. Huge thanks to all who came.
Our October and November Supper Clubs have sold out in record time, but do sign up to our mailing list to be the first to know about 2027 dates- we’ll be releasing these in early October!

We’re just coming back down to earth after a fantastic opening weekend.

Very special thanks go to our incredible chefs and makers - Italian cooking maestros @ross_stacey_chef and @bonaldi_davide for an unforgettable supper club and series of chef masterclasses, and @panulong for unveiling Thornfalcon’s first range of wine and cider, and leading numerous tours, tastings and wine flights.

We had hoped that it would be a fulsome celebration of food, wine and the best of the Southwest- it was, and so much more.

Thank you too to @somersetgrill for our very special outdoor grill to fire the weekend.

Possibly our favourite time of year. The vines grow up to 5cm a week in June, and it’s looking lovely and lush.

Excited to see how this year's harvest turns out - it will be the first from our champagne variety vineyard here at Thornfalcon.
