How to spend a day in 📍Malvern:

A perfect summer itinerary of hilltop views, independent food spots and hidden gems...

☕ 9:00am: Start with coffee in Great Malvern
Begin your day with coffee and something sweet at one of Malvern’s independent cafés. Choose from Papas Café, Faun, Mac & Jac’s, Steamhouse, Lyttelton Well, Henry’s Café, Bluebird Tearooms, Green Link Café, Malvern Bakehouse or Abbey Road Coffee for the perfect start to your day.

🥾 10:00am: Walk the Malvern Hills and enjoy a picnic with a view
No trip to Malvern is complete without climbing the hills. Head up to the Worcestershire Beacon for some of the best views in the county, with panoramic sights across the Severn Valley and beyond. Pick up some local treats and enjoy a picnic on the hills before making your way back into town.

🌿 1:00pm: Explore Great Malvern
Spend the afternoon wandering through Great Malvern and discovering its spa heritage, independent shops and historic streets. Pick up a bottle of natural Malvern spring water and take your time exploring the town.

🍰 3:30pm: Afternoon treat stop
Slow down with coffee, cake or an ice cream from one of Malvern’s cafés. The perfect excuse to relax and enjoy the town at a slower pace.

⛪ 4:15pm: Step back in time
Take a wander around the historic Great Malvern Priory, one of the town’s most iconic landmarks, and discover more about Malvern’s fascinating history. If you have time, pop into Malvern Museum to delve a little deeper into the town’s past, before taking a leisurely stroll through the Winter Gardens.

🍽️ 5:30pm: Dinner at Madresfield Butchers Restaurant
Go for a meal at Madresfield Butchers Restaurant, known for locally sourced ingredients and seasonal dishes, in a cosy countryside setting.

🍸 7:00pm: Cocktails and mocktails at The Water Cure
Finish the evening with a drink at The Water Cure, a stylish bar in the heart of Malvern. Enjoy creative cocktails or a refreshing mocktail and a relaxed atmosphere after dinner.

Save this for your next trip ✨

So this week we’ve been straight on it with planning and next steps to begin our fundraising for new Christmas lights. More to follow soon 👀

Papa's Caffe,
Malvern.

BLACK AMERICANO

Presentation:
A very basic looking white cup and saucer, but a good shape.

Temperature:
Nice and hot, allowed me to enjoy the coffee for longer.

Flavour:
It lacked a little hit of bitterness I would've preferred, but actually still a good flavour.

Atmosphere:
It has a nice upper market cafe feel. Food looked great and the was a nice buzz inside. Staff super friendly.

Cost:
£3.40

But first, brunch ☕️🥚🍳
Tried the Turkish eggs at Papa’s Caffe in Malvern and I genuinely can’t stop thinking about them. Creamy garlic yogurt, perfectly poached eggs, harissa, pomegranate, and warm flatbread — such a fresh, flavorful brunch. Easily on the must-try list if you’re in the area.

Last day of school calls for pancakes 🥞

Dropped baby sister at nursery and took my eldest for a little date at our favourite cafe Papas in Worcester 🤍

Such a beautiful, cosy café with amazing food, super welcoming staff and a brilliant kids menu… right in the heart of the city.

Highly recommend if you’re local ✨

The loveliest surprise weekend in Malvern to celebrate my 35th birthday. Ate lots of great food, explored the Malvern Hills, made pizza in an Airbnb that used to be an old bakery, and just relaxed whilst trying to not sulk about turning 35. 🍕🎉🍷🍂💙🥾

☕️ 🍂 Happy Monday 🍂 ☕️

On Saturday morning we ventured into Worcester and tried a new coffee spot @papascaffe - whilst we didn’t stop for breakfast, the food looked incredible so will definitely be back to visit soon!

Now to start a busy week at work with a not so appealing looking coffee at home to fuel my morning! #coffee #cafe #worcestershire #weekend #home #homelife #local
