An hour of uninterrupted reading? Don't mind if I do.

Thankyou to @lilyslittlelibrary__ for tagging me! After school drop off this morning, I headed to my favourite local coffee haunt @_mochagrande with the plan to complete this challenge.

I'm currently reading Summerween by @josswoodbooks and was ready for this hour of bliss. I set myself up in the sun, ordered a cappuccino, and even treated myself to a toasted banana bread. Perfecto!!

Alas, just before the halfway mark, I got a call that needed my attention, and my one hour of DND reading time was cut short. I managed 23 pages, a coffee, banana bread, and some sunshine.

Challenge failed! But the good part? I get to try again!

I've tagged afew of you to join in too 🫶 Take an hour for yourself, put your phone away and enjoy some uninterrupted *laughs* reading time. We could all use a little time to switch off and get lost in a book.

MY LITTLE BBY ACCOUNT TURNS ONE TODAY!!! ⁉️ Do you like to celebrate birthdays or keep it quiet? I love little markers of time passing and gifts (my love language) but I'm so awkward about being the centre of attention ever so I prefer when it's a celebration not focused on me 😝

Truly I'm so happy to be in this space and get to chat about books with pals as a hobby!! Thank you to everyone who shows up regardless of what state my social battery is in and makes this a safe and happy space for this silly audhd nonbinary queer bean.

From book launches and street teams, to fun book events and signings, ARCs and publisher mail and making a book space that feels my own, it truly is so special. Nothing is without its hitches, but it will ALWAYS BE THE COMMUNITY that makes this space special, and don't let the algorithm tell you otherwise!!!

Love y'all and I am off to go enjoy the sunshine and help my hub with his woodworking space in the same way he has helped me build my lil library 🥹💗

✨ Chloe Gong book signing!! ✨

So glad @thechloegong finally came to Melbourne to meet us all, sign our books and have a great conversation with @keshewrites to celebrate the launch of Eyes of Kings! We all went a bitttt crazy and brought our WHOLE collections and @kyr.reads even made friendship bracelets, but it was such a fun night!!
