Thanks to the fine release "Le calendrier de la spatule", a collaboration by "Raoul P. & Ludovic Tac" on the ever-interesting "Grisaille label", I was able to discover these wonderful collections of poetry by Ludovic Tac. Accompanied by beautiful illustrations by Jean-Claude Charbonel (Entre deux âges, De la longe....), Suzel Ania and Fabrice Sauge (De la longe...), this is one of those examples of how text, sound and visual art can be brought together to form a whole whose sum is more than the addition of its individual parts! I try (for myself) to translate the texts (some 50 years ago I once studied French) but this is so much more than just the words, trying to discover the sense, the richness.... Have no words for it other than wonderful.
