‘Infloresce Vol. 3 - Aphrodisiac’ – an album exploring sexuality and asexuality.

Coming September 24 🖤

We’re excited to announce the final composers of our collective album:

glasse (they/any) is a multi-genre artist whose interwoven soundscapes of post-rock, ambient, and orchestral music serve as a vessel for cathartic grief and resilient hope in response to the advancing ruptures of capitalism.

unit333 (she/her) is a vocalist, visual artist & music producer who creates emotive, ethereal electronica that explores & gives form to the unseen life force that connects us all.

paper aviator (aka Kris Zaballero, they/she) is a Filipino-American composer and pianist who enjoys blending soft acoustic timbres with playful electronic sounds, often blurring the boundary between the two.

And we’re also unveiling our group collaboration, “Pearlescent by Nature”—a collective piece by aivi, Gator Tots, Hunter Van Brocklin, Maddie & The Roses, Michaela Nachtigall, miles morkri, petet, quarkimo, surasshu, Tancla, and Winnie.

Our tune for the brown part of the pride flag represents the queer BIPOC experience. @alimimigra, who composed the foundation, says “I wrote it to both vent my frustration with the oppression I face as a black trans woman, but also express the love I hold for myself and who I am, despite it all.”

A BLUEshift is when an astronomical object appears to be bluer to the naked eye as it approaches the viewer in relativistic speeds. This tune reflects this nature by having a very distant, twinkling sound - with a melody that becomes clearer and more complete as you approach the end of the tune.

(from our pride album 'color coated'!)

‘indigo skies’ is a fun and playfully theatrical tune based on the (unfortunately common) feeling of wanting to pack your bags and leave behind a rough experience - searching far and wide for a place that feels like home.

(from our pride album WAM #3: color coated!)

3 years later 🥲

today i turn 29 and this year one of my most beloved songs “two spirits wandering the earth” turns 3. for this joint birthday, the deluxe version is out now!

“two spirits” is the song that most explicitly conveys the message of my first EP “despair falls”. it’s an urge to keep going, despite everything:

if survivors of genocide can wake up in the literal rubble of their own homes and be grateful to be alive, how can we falter and despair at our own?

i am grateful to @cadencehira for arranging a new version of the song, @slyleaf for recording new vocals for it, @tanukibao for the artwork, and my friends who contributed amazing remixes

thank you for bringing new versions of “two spirits” to life! enjoy the birthday release 💚
