✨Bookstore Spotlight: Papercut Books✨

Welcome to Wilmington, NC. Beaches, UNCW, regional airport, and Papercut Books (@papercutbooks)! I was traveling through and had to stop at what has to be one of the coolest bookstores. It feels like stepping into another world, and I wish I had more time to explore and relax! Flowers, comfy chairs, Halloween decorations, and an amazing selection of books! I found what I was looking for immediately. They also gave me an educator discount, which was so appreciated. I want to go back to this store so badly and now I implore everyone to make Papercut Books a stop when visiting Wilmington!

QOTD: What’s the last bookstore you visited?

Did you know you can visit Cousins Beach IRL? [ad]

Most of the show was filmed right here in the Wilmington area! Plan your trip asap to @visitnc to see these film locations and experience the Cousins magic 🎬

📍 Oceanic
Season 3, Episode 3: Belly and Jeremiah announce their engagement to their families at this waterfront restaurant. Grab drinks, apps, and sit by the water to recreate the scene.

📍 Little Loaf Bakery
Season 3: This is where Belly goes wedding cake shopping and the infamous “Belly, cacao is the bean!” started. Grab a pastry or baked good while you’re there!

📍 ARRIVE Wilmington + Gazebo Bar
Season 3: ARRIVE plays Cousins Inn during Belly and Jeremiah’s wedding weekend. The hotel and Gazebo Bar appear in several wedding storylines, including Conrad’s conversation with Mr. Fisher and Jeremiah’s post wedding scenes. You can actually stay here or just stop by to visit the bar!

📍 Papercut Books
Season 1, Episode 2: Papercut Books becomes the fictional Whale of a Tale Bookshop, where Laurel hosts her book party. Stop in and browse for your own beach read.

📍 Fort Fisher State Recreation Area
Season 1 + Season 2: Fort Fisher was used for the iconic nighttime beach and bonfire scenes, plus the Season 2 “snow on the beach” scene with Belly and Conrad. Head to the beach and see it for yourself!

📍 Casa Blanca Coffee Roasters
Season 3, Episode 1: Conrad and Agnes meet here and talk about their summer clinic jobs. Grab a coffee and sit where the scene was filmed.

📍 Benny’s Big Time Pizzeria
Season 3, Episode 1: Belly and Steven catch up over pizza and talk about their relationships.

📍 Southport, NC
Season 1 and throughout the series: Southport was used as a major stand in for Cousins Beach, including the iconic “Entering Cousins Beach” sign.

📌 SAVE this for your next Wilmington trip!

📚 Field Trip to @papercutbooks in Wilmington, NC.
It's so beautiful and cozy with new and used books. I didn't get anything this time but my girls grabbed several.
And the music is classic R & B! 🤌🏾💕 This was the song playing as we walked in 👏🏾👏🏾

We looooooove when people come into shop and ask for recommendations around downtown because boy do we have em!!!! Some of the coolest and most unique spots are merely a walking distance away from us, you’ll probably catch us here on our breaks or days off!! Our small biz pals always having something cool cooking up and lucky for us it’s usually just right around the corner. These are only some local spots, with Wilmington’s community always giving us more and more every year (hey, no complaints from us!).
Saturdays in downtown Wilmington are simply the best, come see for yourself ✨💕😙
