𝐏𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞!! ✨
There’s more room to grow when you’re willing to explore beyond what’s familiar.

Yesterday, I traveled to Louisville, KY (my home before Cincinnati) for a creator matchmaking event hosted by @pitchpleaseapp & I’m so thankful to have been invited into a room full of new faces, new connections, and potential opportunities!

I love the community I’ve built in Cincinnati, and as a Kentucky girl born and raised, getting to spend time in Louisville was a reminder that there’s so much more I want to explore, experience, and build.

But let’s talk about something we don’t always say out loud as creators: “What’s in it for me?”

Not in a selfish way, but in an intentional way. Our time, energy, creativity, and resources are valuable. Every opportunity doesn’t have to be a yes, and every event isn’t automatically the right fit. Sometimes, you have to ask yourself if the opportunity aligns with where you’re going, what you’re building, and the goals you’ve set for yourself.

For me, this was about more than just attending an event. It was about expanding my network, building meaningful relationships, and giving myself the chance to grow beyond.

I want to keep saying yes to rooms that challenge me, opportunities that align with my vision, and experiences that remind me there’s so much more out there to explore. And I’m grateful to the people and organizations who think of me and create spaces for connections like these. 🫶🏾

Here’s to growing with intention, making meaningful connections, and being willing to go where the opportunities are. 🥂

Basement reveal 🔥 And this one deserves to be seen with the lights ON…and OFF.

Designed for a family that loves to host, this basement is centered around one major statement piece: the LED-backlit countertops and full-height backsplash. 💡 We carefully engineered the stone so light could shine through the natural veining, completely transforming the bar after dark.

And a huge shout-out to Milford’s own Charlie from @charliesstillonmain ! 🥃 Charlie helped us style the bar with an amazing selection of bourbons for this photoshoot, and they couldn’t have been more perfect. We love seeing local businesses support one another, and we’re so grateful to have people like Charlie in our Milford community.

Beyond the bar, we created a large lounge area, custom built-ins, timber-wrapped structural posts, plus dedicated gym and office spaces.

A basement built to host, unwind, work, work out…and show off a little. 🔥
