POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It's story time again at #brickcentral and here's the final part that our artists @paps.bricks, @sdphoto_bricks and @toy.story.yana built:

"This is your final day at the UFO training campus, hope you have fun and finish the course! Today you will be assigned to take the Centrifugal Force Roller Coaster mission training. This machine allows our trainees to experience the speed and force at which it takes to go to Space! Each attendance gets a ticket to ride and test out their stamina against the spinning.

Now, you remember the small astronauts from the last training, right? They are normal trainees and astronauts, that had visited the photo booth. Wait, what?! Yes, the photo booth is a machine itself! When the person inside pushes the special button on the camera, you get the option to be shrunk down to be a miniature trainee or mini astronaut!

This course is to teach you to learn how to act when launching and going back on ground level. It also has a light simulator. Remember the radioactive light rays? This is the machine that teaches you how to avoid them when they appear next to you.

When the mission is complete, the green lamp is automatically activated and the next in line can step in.
After a long day of training, our fearless astronaut needs to get some shut eye and take a quick break. But not without first receiving a hello from an unexpected visitor to our UFO facility.

At the end of the day, we hope we inspired you to always follow your dreams, be brave and fearless! And know one thing- only the sky is the limit! Have a safe flight!"

So here's the conclusion! How was the experience? Did you enjoy reading it? Let us know in the comments!

It's story time again at #brickcentral and here's the second part that our artists @paps.bricks, @sdphoto_bricks and @toy.story.yana built:

"Welcome back, future astronaut!
Get ready to jump in the Zero-G Plunge and the Orbital Shuttle! The Zero-G Plunge offers a thrilling free-fall experience, simulating the weightlessness of Space. The Orbital Shuttle invites you to step inside and feel the excitement of a real launch simulation, just like a true astronaut!

Step inside the cockpit of the Orbital Shuttle! Here future astronauts learn to operate the controls and prepare for liftoff.
It’s a hands-on experience that brings them one step closer to Space travel!
After the rockets have taken into the deep and wide sky of our training campus, you have some missions to do.

There are asteroids that try to hit the rocket, but you must keep yourself safe and try avoid them. We hope you remember where is the button for the laser gun, because you have to hit the flying asteroids as soon as you see them.

Here’s a look at how the planets and asteroids look when they’re not in a training mod.
On the way to get in a rocket for a new mission, some of the trainees see some odd little astronauts, they had never seen before.
Look, there’s even tiny rockets for them to fit in. It looks like a very comfortable rocket and some of the new guys are waiting in line to get in. In fact, this is one of the top 3 safety rockets in our training campus. Experience the joy of Space travel at it’s fullest! Take a fun spin while learning about what astronauts do, all in a safe and exciting environment!

These tiny astronauts are actually pretty good in flying! Look at them go through the radioactive rays of light! Still wondering where they came from?"

It's story time at @brickcentral and we are proposing a new collab.

We invited @paps.bricks, @sdphoto_bricks along with a moderator, @toy.story.yana, to collaborate and create a story around the 3-in-1 Creator 31142 Space Roller Coaster.

So here the first part!

"Welcome to our UFO: Ultimate Flying Opportunity training campus! You will see three different training areas from our center.

Meet our astronaut and scientist duo! They’re here to welcome you to the UFO campus, where the journey to Space begins.

We start with demonstrating the importance of having the correct gear and how the Space facility utilizes each machine to teach our future heroes Space safety.

After you know what gear to use in different situations, I’ll lead you to our rolling rocket. You should have guts to get in. This course will teach you to think fast, and keep an eye to the fast-moving objects near you.

After this course is taken, we recommend you to head to the Zero-Gravity zone. You better hold on tight if you don’t want to be randomly floating around.

There is another area of the Zero-Gravity zone. We call it “Walk this way”. There’s less force here and you can step on the ground. It’s where we teach you how to walk gracefully when you’re on another planet. Make your best jumps and be careful you don’t roll over!

The final training area for today is the Angry-Alien-Get-Though training mission. Here we teach astronauts to be very quick and slick and to pass through our alien without harm and leave it with no angry feelings.

When you finish the entire course, you will be able to explore the wide Space and go on different missions."

If you want to read the complete story and go behind the scenes visit the blog (link in bio) or just wait tomorrow for the second part!

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: @paps.bricks

Hello there!

It's time to direct the spotlight toward our community members, and today we fly to Cyprus to meet @paps.bricks!

"Hi everyone.

I am Skevos Papageorgiou from Nicosia, Cyprus and I work as a teacher at a primary school.

During the pandemic, I stumbled upon the fascinating world of toy photography, initially experimenting with Playmobil figures. Yet, it was the captivating LEGO creations that truly sparked my imagination.

My favorite photo subjects derive from the Wild West, pirate adventures and the medieval era. But I also tend to like the simplicity of everyday life scenes.

In my photos I always include some sort of building like workplaces, rooms, or facades etc because they add depth and give viewers more to explore beyond just the minifigure. These details enhance the storytelling in each image, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in it.

Once my setup is ready, I always shoot at the eye level of the minifigure for reasons we're all familiar with.

From there, it's all about experimenting with the aperture, lighting, angle, and more until I achieve the desired result.

Drawing ideas from Pinterest, my main goal is to create narratives and capture moments infusing each photo with a unique story.

I only wish the process from conception to setup and finally the photo wouldn’t span several days.

Despite the time-consuming nature of this hobby, every moment spent orchestrating these scenes is incredibly soothing and enjoyable. Though, I must admit, once the shoot is over, the eagerness to tidy up and store everything back in drawers is undeniable!

For my photos I use an Olympus M. Zuiko Digital 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6, a couple of RGB lights by ulanzi and A4 papers as a reflector"

Thank you for accepting our invitation and let the community knows you better!

🗓 MONTHLY ROUNDUP

Hello community, another month has come to an end and it's time for our Monthly Roundup

First, we gave shoutouts to:
@cloned_customs
@pglego
@paps.bricks
@clone_mage

This month we had a contest. It was all about the tips we have shared through the years. You had to choose some tips, use them in your picture and describe how you used them. There were a lot of participants, lots of tips used, great work, everyone!

@archiminibricks gave us tips about outdoor photography. He, his little helper Suzy and her red bike showed us how to use foreground and background, leading lines, the sun light and other interesting elements in our pictures to make them stand out and be more interesting.

@sarouxbastoux was features mod for the month and she showed us some wonderful pictures from the community.

@the_aphol invited @lucy1021lego in the Artist Spotlight. Lucy creates scenes from our everyday life and this way she gives life to her minifigures as showing they have a home and do stuff like we all do. She also uses a simple way of photographing the scenes, but that's what it makes them so fascinating: simlpycity in the build and a simple shooting process

For the next month @joschka.vanderlucht has prepared an interesting theme and we will have a Guest Features Mod for a second time. He is @photomark6 and will be on the lookout for some of your beautiful pictures.
If you want to have a chance to be featured, use #brickcentral, #bc_minifigless, #bc_builddetails and #bc_classicface, check your DM's regularly and also don't forget to share your pictures in the dedicated Discord channel

See you all in August ☀️
