• I already shared desi wedding outfit inspo for hijabis/niqabis(pinned post) but if you want to wear abayas to a wedding, then this post is for you!

• For abayas, always choose loose and flowy cuts so they look classy and modest. Fitted abayas look cheap and also make your body shape more visible.

• For hijabs, you can wear silk, crinkle silk, or organza hijabs ,these fabrics look the most elegant for weddings.

• Match your hijab with your abaya . contrast colors or monochrome both work beautifully, depending on the theme.

• For fancy abayas, there are so many good fabrics like lava silk, satin silk, and organza. And if you want something very simple yet elegant, go for Firdos Nida fabric, just like the black abaya I’m wearing in the pictures.

• Choose neutral or jewel tones for wedding abayas , shades like black, emerald green, golden , silver , champagne, and navy always look premium.

• Add a touch of embellishment: minimal lace, pearl detailing, or embroidered sleeves can elevate your look without compromising modesty.

• Accessorize smartly: carry a classy clutch, wear light jewelry (like ring or a delicate bracelet), and pair your abaya with elegant heels.
