Join the California LGBT Arts Alliance as they revisit the 2013 documentary film on the life of renowned Los Angeles-based Trans Latina activist and leader, Bamby Salcedo. Audiences will see how and where Ms. Salcedo — the founder and CEO of the largest trans-led nonprofit in the U.S.A., TransLatin@ Coalition — got the mettle and might to turn her vision, dreams, and aspirations into reality. In the 12 years since director and producer Dante Alencastre created Transvisible, Ms Salcedo has become one of the most renowned and celebrated Transgender Latina Leaders, not only locally but nationally. Her absolute devotion to her community is not only inspirational, but life changing. Her compassionate voice speaks for all who are still silent and empowers new generations not only through her work but her powerful and loving essence in our midst. Transvisible: Bamby Salcedo's Story will screen at the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Renberg Theatre on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 8-9:30 p.m. Followed by a conversation between Dante and the film's Executive Producer, Roland Palencia plus TBD. Click on bio for tickets.

Just wanted to take the time to thank all attendees who joined us for this year’s WWLA “Para Tu Salud” Health Conference. In total we had around 150 participants 🙌None of this would have been possible without your presence and active participation. I also wanted to express our sincere appreciation to all of our speakers and vendors who contributed to the success of the event. A special thank you to @calendow for generously providing us with a venue. We are also grateful to @cedarssinai for conducting free health screenings and our all of our sponsors, including Anthem @blueshieldofca Everyones support and collaboration made this conference a truly meaningful and impactful experience. We look forward to future opportunities to come together in the pursuit of better health for all ❤️

Goodmorning fam ☀️ Last year I had the opportunity to help out with Worksite Wellness LA’s 1st Annual Health Conference. This year I got invited back to be one of their lead coordinators for their conference. Today I just want to thank our CEO Luis from WWLA for trusting me and the team with this event. We hope to educate and inspire all attendees today to make better decisions regarding their overall health. Cheers to health 🥂
