Had the opportunity to see @kiefdaddysupreme again this weekend. Always a special show. Thanks for blessing the Portland crowd with so much positive energy. Everyone killed it and I’m grateful to see the final stop on this US tour.

《 Kiefer live in Taipei 》
2026.10.30 @legacy_taiwan

@kiefdaddysupreme

Saw @kiefdaddysupreme last night for date night. It was awesome getting to meet him after the show last night, especially after seeing him live a few times. I’ve now fully listened to Memory Bomb a few times.

There’s something about this album that I can’t quite shake, it really speaks to me and has this sense of familiarity and nostalgia to it. It is timeless.

I really love the album concept behind Memory Bomb ; this connection between dreams, memories, and the things we hope for and how much of who we are is shaped by the things we carry with us from the past and the things we imagine for our future.

Some of these dreams come from things we’ve already experienced. Some of them come from things we wish we had experienced. And some of them are things we haven’t even gotten to yet.

There is something very powerful in giving all of those things a place in our lives instead of treating dreams like they’re separate from reality. And you can really feel that in the music. It moves between jazz, hip-hop, soul, electronic sounds and improvisation in a way that feels like memory and imagination constantly overlapping. Seeing it live made that feeling even stronger.

I also have to say, I became a fan of so many of the artists he collaborated with on this album. I love when an album introduces me to artists I might not have found otherwise. And getting to see Shibo live was such a treat plus the completely unexpected surprise of Parajitab! That was definitely a highlight of the night. Her voice has this caramel sweetness to it.

My takeaway from this album: we’re always carrying pieces of where we’ve been while imagining where we’re going. Maybe a dream isn't an escape from reality. Maybe sometimes it’s the blueprint for it.
