The U Creates and the University of Miami invite you to a free early screening of "WWFDWNFT - Chapter 1: The Dawn of the Imagination Age," the first installment in the short documentary series "What Would Fado Do with Non-Fungible Tokens," which is scheduled to premiere on the NFT platform @niftygateway .

The series is produced and directed by Miami-based artist Gabriel "GG" Gimenez in partnership with @ivgalleryla , @ourcamp.us and an outstanding group of creatives. "Chapter 1: The Dawn of the Imagination Age" focuses on the conversation surrounding the intersection of fine art & NFTs. This project is also one of the first short films to use NFT technology as a means of independent film distribution.

For this first installment, Gimenez and his team interviewed some key artists, curators, entrepreneurs and government officials who are leading the way in this new and exciting space. The list includes: Alejandro Navia, Alycia Rainaud, Carlos Luna James, Cristina Favretto, Defaced, Franklin Sirmans, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, Gregory Johnson, Griffin Cock Foster, KID 8, Matt Medved, Pip, Raina Mehler and Vincent Harrison.

The screening will include a conversation with the filmmakers. A reception at the Cosford's outdoor patio will follow. Registration at link is required. Unclaimed tickets will be released 15 minutes before the show.

Days on set. The sun beaming down on us through cloudless skies. Thankfully @kihuut & @piwiishology Payómkawichum Ancestors would send us gusts of wind to cool us off while we’re fighting the clock to get that shot.

Nights on set brought the cold. That didn’t stop us from throwing a jacket on (two if you flew in from Miami) and laying out a 15 foot Dolly in the middle of the forest.
