In honor of National Gymnastics day I think it’s finally time to make this post.

After almost 20 years of doing gymnastics, my time to hang the grips up has finally come.

I want to just say thank you and show my gratitude to the sport and everything that has come with it.

Thank you Mom and Dad for always supporting me throughout this crazy journey. Taking time off work to take me to meets, taking me to doctors appointments, and just being there when I need words of encouragement or just a shoulder to cry on. Love you both.

Thank you Rheanah. Whenever I was doubting myself you always lifted me up. Along with learning the lingo of a new sport in such a short time just to support me, AND traveling across the country to show your support, thank you. I love you 🫶

Thank you to my Gym Jesters family.
Rich, thank you for always putting up with me even when I at times was definitely a brat. You helped shape me into the person I am today and I am forever grateful for the work and effort you put into coaching me. Love ya Coach.

To My teammates. You guys have became some of the closest people in my life. Throughout us going our separate ways after gymnastics, we still make a huge effort to see each other and every time it’s like we never left those days of chatting at the chalk bin. Love you boys.

To the Iowa guys. You guys literally became my family. We lived together,ate together,went through challenges together, and were always there for one another. You guys helped me through some of the hardest struggles in my life without even knowing. Thank you guys for everything. Love yall.

To my coaches at Iowa. Thank you for pushing me to be the best version of myself and believing in me through the adversity I faced throughout my collegiate career. Much love.

On top of the people mentioned I want to thank gymnastics for all the friends you’ve given me all across the country. whether that be from Flip Fest or competitions, thank you. (Shout out the Skeegs 🫶)

Being the first to get victorian credit in U.S. history was pretty cool.

Proud of the people all of these guys have become.
