We all have one.

The car that wasn’t necessarily the fastest, newest or most expensive — but somehow got under your skin.

The one you still search for in the classifieds.

The one you’d buy back tomorrow.

The one you probably shouldn’t have sold.

What was yours — and why? 👇

Ever finished reading ten reviews and somehow felt less sure than when you started?

Exactly.

Before you spend the 50k, spend 15 minutes with someone who knows.

Buying a car is a big decision. And more reviews, more forums and more opinions don’t always make it any easier.

Sometimes you just need an independent second opinion from someone who’s actually driven the cars you’re considering — and knows what matters beyond the spec sheet.

That’s what The Car Hack is for.

Before you spend thousands getting it wrong, spend a little getting it right.

Talk to someone who knows.

Delighted that my 2008 Aston Martin Vanquish S, chassis #2390, was awarded a Highly Commended rosette on Supercar Day at @london_concours - 11.6.26

Finished in Onyx Black and converted by @astonmartinworks to manual transmission (1 of ~100), it sits within the final 200 or so chassis of the original Newport Pagnell Vanquish run, from a total production of just 2,589 cars, including 1,086 Vanquish S models worldwide.

Designed by @iscallum and later signed by the legend himself; the Vanquish remains one of the most important Aston Martins of the modern era: the car that bridged Aston Martin’s hand-built past and its modern future.

5.9 litres. Naturally aspirated V12. 520bhp. 200mph.

Thank you to @parkesden and @mpandey69 for their judging, and to everyone at London Concours for a wonderful event. It was a pleasure to lunch with Chairman Peter Read and guests, thank you Mr P.

Special thanks to @nicholas_mee for supplying this beast and continuing to care for this remarkable car.

Thanks to @ldncarz for the photographs

Stunning corporate event with @tachyonmotorsport & @gasolinejuice_official

Tachyon Engineering welcomed guests from the UK performance engineering industry to explore what’s next and how turbochargers will be part of that evolution.

With British Motorsport legend Tim Harvey as our host and the unique setting of Gasoline Juice, the discussions were insightful, inspiring, and a great opportunity to connect with industry experts.

And in true Tachyon style, they traveled to and from the event in classic rally cars from Holland —an incredible experience through the stunning British countryside. Absolutely fantastic!!!

This is just the beginning—exciting things are coming.
Looking forward to what’s next.
