Barcelona, the city that does a little bit of everything. 🇪🇸

Beach mornings, Gaudí architecture, beautiful restaurants, and a little designer shopping. Here’s what I’d recommend after visiting:

STAY | W Barcelona
Perfect if you love a lively atmosphere and beachside luxury. Walk along Barceloneta Beach, enjoy the nightlife, and don’t miss breakfast with a view.

SIP | Beach Garden
A cocktail and tapas stop along Barceloneta Beach. The perfect way to spend a slower afternoon.

EXPLORE | Park Güell
Book well in advance! We reserved a guided tour through Viator, which made planning easy. Having your entry arranged ahead of time is worth it.

SHOP | Passeig de Gràcia
Make time for a little luxury shopping. Louis Vuitton was one of our stops along this beautiful stretch of Barcelona.

DINE | Circolo Popolare
A beautiful restaurant filled with greenery and statement chandeliers. A lovely dinner stop before exploring the city after dark.

AFTER DARK | Casa Batlló
I specifically booked the nighttime experience directly through Casa Batlló. The illuminated architecture is stunning, and the rooftop is worth enjoying.

My one regret? The champagne upgrade. The designated champagne room was crowded, and we couldn’t leave until we’d finished our drinks. Personally, I’d skip that add-on next time.

DAY TRIP | La Roca Village
Always a must for me! Beautiful boutiques and excellent designer outlet deals.

If you’re visiting from outside the EU, bring your passport for tax-free shopping. Ask about refund services at the Village, but remember that your purchases still require Customs validation when you leave the EU.

A little planning makes Barcelona even better.

Save this for your next trip. ✈️

🇬🇧🇪🇸🇵🇱⬇️ WHY DOES BARCELONA LOOK LIKE THIS?

GAUDÍ DIDN’T USE COLOUR JUST TO DECORATE. HE USED IT TO BRING ARCHITECTURE TO LIFE.

For Gaudí, colour was an expression of life itself.

Look at nature: flowers, leaves, the sea, sunlight. His architecture drew inspiration from a world that was never meant to be colourless.

At Park Güell, mosaics transform stone and ceramic into something vibrant. And as the Mediterranean light changes, so does the way we see them.

Barcelona is full of architectural details hiding stories like this. Follow along to discover why the city looks the way it does.

⸻

⸻

DLACZEGO BARCELONA TAK WYGLĄDA?

GAUDÍ NIE UŻYWAŁ KOLORÓW TYLKO DO DEKORACJI. UŻYWAŁ ICH, BY OŻYWIĆ ARCHITEKTURĘ.

W Parku Güell mozaiki ożywiają kamień i ceramikę.

Not gaudy. Gaudi.

Barcelona, your authentic character and charisma is captivating. Design unlike anything else. I’m honestly kind of speechless- you surpassed expectations. But it’s not just that. It’s a feeling, a vibe. And it’s contagious.
