It was so delightful to have a Closing Halloweekend!! 🎃Glancing over to capture exhibiting artist @distoart regaling this masked and caped art crusader with stories about his process was awesome. From the littles who are always such a pleasure to have at the gallery (no filter, honest responses to art — so refreshing!) to fellow artists and local business owners who we consider friends, it was a really nice closing weekend to what has been a spectacular month full of visits from very special people. We are so grateful for all who traveled here from far and wide and those who came back more than once to see Distort’s latest collection of work. He labored for a good year to create these outstanding works and they warrant attention and study. Thank you, Distort, for entrusting us with this most important show — it’s been a pleasure working together and getting to hang out with your paintings and sculptures all month! Thank you to the collectors who acquired phenomenal works of art — it means so much to the artist and to us that you connect with the work. Thank you to all of you who make these experiences possible — we can’t do this without you!! Thanks to @scottfree.99 for serenading us on the ones & twos and @bizznice for keeping us well-fed — yay, @parknmunch ✨! The last pic is of Distort’s painting, “Venison,” which speaks to our tumultuous relationship with our environment. It’s a high-impact piece with a powerful message. DM us for more info about it.
‼️🖼‼️
We have more fun pics to share and more to say about what was a great closing weekend and a fantastic month so we’ll wait for our next post to say more! xoxoxox
