NEW WORK Excited to share our work for Plan Partners – a special one for us. For anyone who’s tried to make sense of NDIS funding, you’ll know the feeling: a wall of paperwork before you’ve even accessed the support you need. Plan Partners exists to lift that weight. So, we set out to build a brand that reflected the calm and clarity they bring to customers’ every day lives. Calm by Design became the idea behind it all: with a system drawn from the familiar tools of planning – highlighters, notebooks, pens, sticky notes – designed to bring confidence and sense of organisation rarely seen in this space.  Huge thanks to our collaborators on this project who ensured that accessibility was the rule, not the exception: 📸 Chris Gurney @chrisdgurney @barepsau, who captured portraits of real customers with the kind of individuality and empowerment rarely seen in this space.  ✏️ Olivia King @liv__king, for a custom wordmark built from Inclusive Sans – a typeface so tied to Plan Partners’ purpose it was an easy call.  ✍🏼 Lisa Park @parkoillo, who brought our toolkit to life through hand-drawn illustrations.

I rediscovered my sketchbook from 15 years ago! It’s so hilarious what I used to draw 😂 and others are just depressing (damn teenage hormones). . I completely forgot that I had turned my family and friends into little animal characters and kept a comic journal with them 😆 thought it would be fun to redraw some of the characters. . 👉 Swipe to see the comparisons of my newly redrawn vs original characters . FYI, I’m supposed to be “Cat”, my sister @lisaparkdrawing is “Frog”, and I think “Bunny” was supposed to be my best friend at the time 😁 . Happy (belated) International Women’s Day! I’m so grateful that I’ve been surrounded by strong women my whole life which has shaped me to who I am today 💪 My Mum who is juggling multiple jobs with her hard work ethics despite the fact that she can’t speak English well in a English-speaking country (New Zealand). And for talking Dad into moving the whole family to NZ where the feminist culture is strong. My sister Lisa who was brave enough to move to another country (Australia) all by herself to pursue her dream career as a designer. Even my bunny girl Elly who is strongly independent, looks after her brother Bobby, and has survived a major surgery that led her to lose multiple teeth but still eats faster than Bobby haha 🐰🐰 I’m also grateful to be commissioned by @graciasapp - a start-up whose mission is to teach young women about Bitcoin and crypto currencies. We need more young women to be seriously thinking about their money! So watch this space for some cool collab illustrations 😉 Finally, I’m also so grateful for all the men in my life who has supported me to become the woman I am today. Special thanks and love to my partner Sam who has ALWAYS been there for me through all the good times and the bad for the last 5 years 💖💕 Who are you most grateful for that has helped shape who you are today?
