She teaches Write From Your Heart: From Wounded to Warrior – a free women’s creative writing workshop that’s offered to shelters and transition homes. She also teaches writing workshops to adults and youth in her community. Lea loves singing in her queer choir - SingOut - and performing for the public.

Akhil is a storyteller, community builder, and the founder of Chai Chats, a platform that uses conversation to explore South Asian culture, identity, and belonging. Last year, he started Timeless Love, a storytelling campaign celebrating queer South Asians from around the world and the timeless threads of love, resilience, and heritage woven through their stories.

☀️🍽️🥂 Had a breakfast date with friends at The Park Pub. Located on Davie Street by English Bay, The Park Pub brings together a relaxed pub atmosphere with a breakfast menu that has plenty to choose from. 🍴 We started our breakfast with some delightful cocktails. 🍸 Then came the Chicken & Waffles, Crab Cake Benny, The Hash and Breakfast Burrito. There was plenty to share around the table, and everything was delicious!
