How pretty is this cosmetic / toiletry bag created by Susan Gaynor of @parkside.threads, using my Garden Trellis pattern design from my Spring’s Reveal collection! It is so much fun to see a design I’ve created from my own artwork made into an actual product that can be used and enjoyed! I love all of the beautiful details that Susan has incorporated into this bag… The coordinating polka dot fabric, the chunky zipper with lime green border, and the inside has a waterproof lining for easy cleaning. It’s for sale in Susan‘s Etsy shop! If you’re interested, head over there because I’m thinking of purchasing it if you don’t!😃 #molliemcgeeverart #surfacepatterndesigner #watercolorpattern #cosmeticbag #handmadebag

What a fun collaboration with two of my friends! This is my new shower curtain in my cute half bath… With fabric designed by @emilyastriddesign that I ordered from her @spoonflower shop, and beautifully sewn by Susan Gaynor of @parkside.threads ! Both of these ladies are amazingly talented (and the most delightful internet friends!) and I get to benefit from the gifts of each of them! If you swipe to the left, you’ll see Emily‘s same beautiful pattern in peel-n-stick wallpaper that I used on an accent wall in the adjoining room to the bathroom, also ordered from @spoonflower! (YAY me, for putting up the wallpaper all by myself! )! Go give these ladies some love! If you’re looking for some pretty wallpaper, or need an amazing Seamstress, be sure to call on Emily and Susan! (I’ll include links in Stories) 🥰🙌🏼

With my hands, today’s collaboration with @parkside.threads 🤎 Susan is a maker, sewing with hand and machine fabric goods, from pouches to quilts to racquet covers. And her work reminds me of many projects and commissions that I spent my childhood amongst. 🤎 I’m the daughter of a sewist, who developed her skills under the guidance of her mother-in-law, also a sewist. (Can you imagine?) Though I didn’t inherit or pick up this apparent genetic gift from my grandmother or mother, I did pick up on the stitches of kindness that came along with these women. 🤎 The gift of friendship, extended to a new neighbor from out of state. The extra check in with a friend when you hear something different in their voice. The offering to go ahead and carpool to make life a little lighter for a pal needing more help these last few months. 🤎 One small kindness at a time, right? Noticing. Doing. Anticipating. Doing again.

Thank you, Susan, for your creations and for your additional labels that encourage… one small kindness at a time.

I’ve added some other hand images that continue to pull me back. Share the one that speaks to you.
