Camp Life Lately 🫶🏻

We’ve been keeping busy soaking up all the extra time with our furry friends! More cuddles, more treats, lots of group shenanigans, and plenty of happy tails!
Mother Nature clearly can’t make up her mind lately, but we’re rolling with it! Sunshine, rain, chilly mornings… whatever the day brings, we’re making the most of it with our favorite four-legged crew!

Welcome to the newest members of the Aly’s Canine Camp crew! 🐾✨

We’ve had so many sweet new faces join us recently, and it’s been so fun watching them settle in, make friends, and learn the camp routine. We’re so grateful their families trust us with their pups, and we can’t wait for many more play days, sleepovers, and happy memories together! 🤍🐾

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate, and warm holiday wishes to everyone this season!

As the year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to say thank you. Whether you trust us with your dogs for training, boarding, daycamp, or a combination of all three, your support means more than I can fully put into words. Being part of your dogs’ lives, routines, and progress is something I never take lightly, and I am incredibly grateful for the community that continues to support Logically Canine.

As we head into the final days of the year, stay tuned. Our Year End Thank You Event launches tomorrow and will run through the end of the year as a small way to give back to the clients who make this work so meaningful.

I greatly appreciate everyone who sent well wishes in regard to both Cody and I being sick almost all of last week and through the beginning of this week. I am nearly caught up on work related items. There are still a small handful of tasks that I have yet to complete so if you are waiting on something from me, thank you for your patience and I’ll be in touch soon!

As I mentioned yesterday in one of our stories, we have a lot of things brewing over here at Logically Canine. Here are a few important things to keep on your radar, especially as we head into the new year!

- I’ll be switching to a new software system by the beginning of the new year. With this new system, a lot of the power will now go to you the clients to update your accounts, book reservations, upload vaccination information, etc. It will be a learning experience for everyone as we navigate through it, but from the few clients who have tested it for me so far, I’ve gotten nothing by positive reports! I’m very excited to launch it!

- After almost three years in business, I will be increasing our prices for the first time. This will only affect boarding. Daycare prices will not be changing this time around. There will be more on this in a separate post but I wanted to put it on the radar.

- Logically Canine will be making an appearance at Paws & Claws Marketplace on Saturday, January 13th. There will be a lot of amazing pet service vendors in attendance so mark it off on your calendars and stop by if you can to say hi! Or, if you haven’t used our services yet and want to meet us, that will also be a wonderful opportunity to do so.

- The first batch of calendars have arrived! I’m going to start unpacking them and reaching out to those that pre-ordered first to confirm how they want their calendar received and payment information. Be on the lookout if that’s you, and if you haven’t ordered a calendar and would like one, I still have a few left so please reach out as it supports an amazing cause!

- We have a BIG surprise left to unveil, but more on that at another time. I still have to get some ducks in a row before we make that official announcement so stay tuned!

Yesterday, we opened back up our doors to our boarding, training and daycare crew after a wonderful vacation. The dogs wasted no time in getting reacquainted, and we had an absolutely gorgeous day to play outside! ☀️

Besides a few overnight or day trips (listed on our website), we will be open for the rest of the year. Just to mark your calendars, our next scheduled closure is the morning of Saturday, September 30th to the evening of Sunday, October 1st. Also, if you haven’t submitted your reservations for the upcoming holidays, make sure you do so as soon as possible! For the upcoming Indigenous Peoples’ Weekend, we are pretty much at capacity, but may be able to accommodate a last minute request depending on the size of the dog.

We are happy to be back, and look forward to seeing our crew members again! 🥰

While Kai heads into his third week of our 20 night board and train program, we recently welcomed another training student on Sunday! Reagan the seven year old, Golden Retriever is a familiar face around here as he boards with us quite regularly. His mom and I have always talked about getting him some more training and the time has finally come. This handsome boy with the gold locks just started our 15 night workweek board and train program, and we have set out to achieve the following goals:

- Calmer state of mind
- More consistent manners
- Loose leash walking

He’s very eager to learn and always willing to please, especially if food is even remotely involved. We are excited to see how he develops over the next few weeks so he can become the best version of himself. Stay tuned!

Reagan the Golden Retriever kicked off the arrival of our holiday boarders today! He’s a regular at the house and always sets a great example for the newcomers. We absolutely love having him around and are thrilled to spend the holidays with him! 💕

Make sure to check out our Instagram story for updates about our special offerings for the boarders for the rest of the year!
