2025 Recap Part 2

So much happened. Made so many new friends and did some cool stuff along the way.
1 Pre Graduation with friends.
2 Calculus Bowl with some dudes cause we all desperately needed extra credit. Got 3rd which was way too nerdy so I told absolutely nobody 😅
3 Forrest Frank Concert with Will Banta. Legendary night with great music
4 Interview with Quin Tran for the Chickasaw TV. Spoke to my heritage and how it connects to the skills you see on the field.
5 Alaska Fam photo. Amazing trip seeing the wilderness up there
6 I said Impact was coming up! Loved this camp so much and met some of the best ppl too.
7 Texas A&M football had a great year (even if they fell off at the end 😭)
8 3D nationals with the Texas A&M target archers. Coolest people here. Football with these guys gets intense
9 Wake surfing at Fall Break. Love watersports and wish I could do more of them.
10 Halloween archery Team scavenger hunt. Y’all use you looked that good in pink. I will stand my ground in this. We won the costume competition but lost our dignity.
11 Cousin Zeke’s Willy Wonka play. This dude is going far with this, this is his God given talent.
12 Josiah Queen concert at the Campus nights tour. Bro was like whack a mole popping up everywhere plus behind me
13 Wore gold Jordan’s and Kraft Mac and Cheese socks bc laundry wasn’t done. For the plot y’all. And not a soul noticed
14 Hiked St Mary’s Glacier with Will Banta. Very poor choice of hiking days but we didn’t die, did we?
15 Gingerbread house building with the fam. Used up so many pretzels
16 Merry Christmas from Tripp. Wish I could have him in college.
17 Elk hunting with max and dad. Didnt shoot anything except when we decided to take pot shots at a boulder at 400yds. Hit every time. Got a lot of experience with the spotting scope.
18 did I mention I’m goaded at pop a shot? That right there could win @popashot nationals 😂
19 Another winter camp pic from Grace Chapel. GC Denver will always be home
20 Woodworking project from TRHS. All handmade box with an assortment of woods.

JOAD Outdoor Nationals 2025.

An interesting end to my time shooting U/21 nationally. Qualified 1 seed despite some strong and tricky wind, as well as a top nocking point that seemingly wouldn’t stop moving. Went into eliminations the next day confident and made it to the semifinals where on the first arrow I shot… my string blew apart ☹️. While this was a terrifying moment for me, as I got off the line to fix the issue, I was immediately surrounded by a group of friends and coaches, all there to lend equipment, help me get my bow put back together, and support me through the moment. It made me reflect on how truly blessed I am to have found this sport and to have built such relationships with these incredible athletes I compete with. I ended up losing in that semifinal round but moved to the bronze match where I was able to pull together a victory to finish out the tournament.

As I find myself saying more and more often,
Gig ‘Em 👍
