Another fabulous visit to Parnham, this time for a guided tour of the house and gardens, led by Ed Grant (Senior Project Manager) and owner James Perkins, who both spoke so passionately about the project and never tired of our endless questions. These tours offer a more intimate understanding of the estate, from its architectural history to the ongoing restoration work shaping its future. We went beyond the walled garden to experience parts of Parnham not usually open to the public, and to gain insight into the craftsmanship and care underpinning its revival. A fantastic visit and a tour we highly recommend if you can get there.  Followed by a delicious lunch in the restaurant, a really lovely visit. Thank you Ed & James for being so welcoming, we'll be back soon! #dorset #tutorarchitecture #dorsethouses

🎥 Dorset on the big screen ✨ One of our favourite things about the new Sense and Sensibility film is spotting two of our county’s most beautiful locations on screen. ❤️ The stunning @parnhampark near Beaminster provides the backdrop for a romantic lakeside scene between Elinor Dashwood and Edward Ferrars, while @kingstonrussellhouse near Long Bredy appears as Norland Park, the Dashwood family’s beloved ancestral home. Swipe through to see scenes from the film ➡️ Have you watched it yet? Did you recognise Dorset? Credits: Focus Features
