POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last evening, on the invitation of Mrs. Nadira Zaheer Babbar, I had the opportunity to attend the forty-fifth anniversary celebration of the Ekjut Theatre Group at Prithvi Theatre. There was quite a lively and bustling atmosphere.
The invitation was for seven o’clock, but in our effort to arrive on time, we reached there by half past six. Fortunately, we met our dear friend Aslam Parvez, and we spent the time until seven chatting over tea and coffee with him.
At seven, we reached the theatre entrance, met Nadira ji, and congratulated her. Soon after, such a large crowd gathered that people were pressed shoulder to shoulder. Due to my claustrophobia, we remained standing tucked away in one place, and as a result, we could not meet Aslam again for the rest of the evening.
At eight o’clock, the play Ek Lamha Zindagi began and completely mesmerised us. We had already read the works of both Sajjad Zaheer and Razia Sajjad Zaheer, and had even presented some of their creations at Mehfil@Prithvi, so we were somewhat familiar with the material being performed on stage. However, Juhi Babbar Soni’s writing and acting moved us to tears several times during the play. May Allah always protect Juhi from the evil eye! She is such a powerful actress that she portrayed all the roles—both male and female—with great intensity and skill.
When we stepped out of Prithvi Theatre, it felt as if we were emerging from a library after reading an exceptionally fine book.

And it’s a wrap for Jamia Diaries! 🎬✨

Ye project sirf ek shoot nahi, ek khoobsurat safar raha hai. Mere amazing co-actors se lekar hamare visionaries (Director and Team) tak, har kisi ne isme apna 100% diya. Set ki wo masti, wo lambe shifts, aur ek saath milkar kuch naya create karne ka junoon—sab yaad aayega.

Thank you to the entire cast and crew for making this so special. Cheers to the memories we made and the magic we created! 🥂❤️
