In London, I was so happy to gather friends to celebrate the launch of @vilhelm_parfumerie’s Dear Lord, a fragrance that’s imagined as a reply to a love letter, an invisible thread between devoted hearts. It’s a scent designed to stir emotion, to bring certain memories and desires a little closer to the surface, and - with @olivia.poetess, our poet in residence that evening - she created living love letters shared across an impressive table.

14 years of hard work, sacrifice, resilience and belief. Grateful for every challenge, every lesson and every person who has helped along the way.

Building a business while raising a young family has not been easy, but it has also been one of the most fulfilling & rewarding experiences of my life.

A heartfelt thank you to my family, friends, clients, mentors, and everyone who has supported us over the years. Your encouragement, trust, and belief have meant so much to me, I truly appreciate it.

Who thought my 2009 “New Adventure” moving to London after completing my BA Hons, in hope of a job, with not a penny to my name, just a vast sneaker collection would have got me here.

My dream was always to make an impact in life and eventually the competitive industry that is fashion, and I soon learned, like my time in Football, there was no one that really looked like me in these spaces.

I’m Truly grateful to receive such recognition for over 16 years of trying to realise my unique vision, through relentless work and resilience.

So proud of the amazing work @parvmatharu & I have done and got through. So much work that people have not seen or knew that was us! I’m grateful to do something I love and chase that obsessive pursuit for perfection.

Thank you to all the incredible people and brands that we have worked with and have supported us along the way.

My main ambition was to make my family, friends and now my daughters Mia & Saachi proud, and potentially inspire the next generation.

I’m now the first British South Asian Male to be honored an MBE in Fashion . 🥹
