Ich hatte eigentlich genug Autos. Ein 190er in 312 Labradorblau ist aber nicht was man taglich sieht. Hat es sich gelohnt? Wahrscheinlich nicht. Hat Spaß gehabt? Definitiv 😆☺️ 2 Vorbesitzern, kaum Extra, nur Automatische Getriebe und Lautsprecher vorne mit mechanische Antenna. Also hier auch wie bei mein Altroten; OHNE SERVOLENKUNG😱😂

Even with enough cars, I couldn’t resist this 190E in 312 Labradorblue. Didn’t Need it at all, and will definitely not be cheap at all. But a long journey with my son made it history to remember 🤗 2 owner, and only equipped with an auto gearbox, speakers in front and manual antenna.

Back home again at Mercedes-AMG factory, former AMG Motorenbau und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH). 34 years ago, this car was at AMG to be fulfilled as an (then called) AMG 190E 3.2. Went by the factory and so cool to see it turnes head on the employees around. Even got a few questions if I wanted to sell it, when visiting the AMG shop

Let’s dig into it. Started Monday evening after work and unloading, to clean up some insulation foam from the hood. Also got some parts on the shell, so gave it a used rotor and distribution cap, as only a very bad rotor was sitting there. The spark plugs looked like the were way past their lifetime. New, old stock Bosch H7 DC0 were mounted.
Tuesday it was time to replace the fuel pump and filter. Pumps get stuck over years, so had this. Installed a new Bosch pump and original fuel filter. Was missing the harness from coil to ingition coil.
Today I sourced a harness cable in my spare parts. Probably from a 16V, but they fit all😊
It was missing the mid and rear muffler, but luckily I had these laying around from the Reidgrün 190E, as it got the AMG Sebring exhaust last fall.
A battery added, some fresh fuel in and I was ready to give it a try. Sprayed some brake cleaner in the air flow meter and the engine tried to fire right away. It won’t idle, but could be some old gas and some tlc needed for the KE-Jetronic.
Pretty happy with the yellow bird so far. Any idea what I should name her?😃

Complete new old stock AMG Sebring exhaust - Komplett nagelneu AMG Sebring Auspuffanlage eingebaut. Das Sound ist etwas mehr laut und Klang ganz anders. Der ESD sieht etwas tief aus, ist aber wie hoch wie möglich eingebaut geworden. Ich bin zufrieden 😎
Mein 8-Jahrige Sohn ist im Fahrersitz und hat den Motor an gemacht 🙈
