Happy 1-YEAR Anniversary of the Boston leg of our wedding world tour. I love you, Matt Hartman! This ceremony was special because it was in the non denominational chapel of my high school, Milton Academy, where my aunt and uncle had gotten married 40 years prior. My high school theater teacher played the piano! This moment came about because my Mom was not doing well enough to travel to LA for the wedding, but as a result, my aunts and uncles and cousins and BOTH sets of parents got to share this special moment with us. Excited to return to the cottage where we shared our love for our LA friends and family in 3 weeks! #weddinganniversary #husbands #gay

Tonight will be 30 years ago the Beverly Hills MilkBar opened.
It was slamming from day one
7 months into it the Fire Department became aware of us and started shutting me down for over crowding.
I continued to pack the place.
2 months later the police came by and charged me with endangering public safety which I was swiftly convicted of.
Placed on 6 months probation &
no longer able to make any money by keeping to the low allowed occupancy number
it soon stopped being fun.
So 11 months after opening we closed the place.
Defeated, I pack my bags and headed out of Dodge
back to NYC

I've been a fan of The Explorers Club for years. If you're not familiar, it's an international organization dedicated to the advancement of field exploration and scientific inquiry.

It recognizes the world's greatest explorers with exploration's highest honors. Someone already a member must stand up in order for you to become a member. Members include Greely, Amundsen, Nansen — Piccard, Armstrong, Heyerdahl — Goodall, Leakey, Hillary — Roosevelt, Sullivan, Walsh.
